will North Korea nuke us? dunno but if it does happen we might as well make the best of it.

Here are some ways to look on the "brighter side"

1. gonna be a lot warmer this fall if that's when the bomb drops. heating bill should be at an all time low.

2. We can finally put this Trump-Russian collusion narrative to bed as there will be a lot more important things to worry about than that (like, maybe, surviving)

3. Korean demolition of US city creates tremendous opportunity for shovel ready jobs for clean-up screws, bulldozers, etc.

4. all those people who have been hoarding armageddon-style supplies for the last 25 years (near the end of their shelf life now) in their basement will finally get chance to use them.

5. sales of "coexist" bumper stickers and tie-dyed shirts soar to record highs.

The North Korean regime knows that a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the US would spell their complete annihilation. I don't see a way out of the current situation without the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocents (if not millions) without some sort of diplomatic efforts being made with Pyongyang to ease their fears of a US attack.

I vote we nuke them first. Not the North Korean civilians; just Kim Jong Un and his attack dogs (and yes, I know that's impossible; I still say we find a way to kill Kim before he kills us).

But then the resulting fallout could spread to South Korea, which is one of the USA's allies...so I wouldn't count too much on that :/

Oooohhh, so we could make Plants vs Zombies a reality, then?
Nice! now if we talk about plants that reminds me of invasion of the body snatchers which fits perfectly. The plants would host clones of ordinary people and then they'd walk among us.

One bright note is that they will hit mostly large California cities.

Any nuclear attack on the Norks would be insanely bad. It's not just the lives of Koreans that would be lost, but the hundreds of thousands of men and women in the US armed forces as well as the American citizens there. And because there is a lack of Western intelligence within the Kim regime, nobody knows when and where all the weapons of mass destruction are - including chemical and biological weapons which would be used against the US military presence as well as Seoul in retaliation. Keep in mind also that this is in China's backyard, another nuclear power, also. The refugee influx from the Korean peninsula would be catastrophic in any event WMDs are used against Pyongyang, something China would want to avoid at all costs. Don't forget what this would all do to global trade. Much manufactured goods are made in that part of the world which the West consumes. An economic crisis of perhaps unprecedented proportions would be all but guaranteed.

Tl:dr

The only bright side would be the nuclear flashes.

6. Maybe nuke bombs aren't real, or as damaging as we are led to believe.

7. Maybe North Korea is given the spotlight by CNN and the 'freedom' to do all these things for political purposes and scare tactics.

As i said in another thread, all that has to be done is to destroy NK's missile sites. I think the thing that's preventing that right now is NK's ties to China and whatever other diplomatic barriers there might be. Otherwise the US can just send some B2 bombers or whatever they're using now and be done with it. I'm sure the half-starved NK air force would be no match against US aggression, if they even have an air force.

Don't sell little fat boy short. He has a bunker that is built to withstand a direct hit from a nuclear warhead. We would probable have to put at least three MOANs directly on it.

And as I said, they do not use stationary sites.

Dunno- Crazy as he is, I suspect he knows to keep his soldiers in good shape.
(or at least his generals must know).

PS: if you blast his nukes store there will be radiative downfall.... and it can spread. FAR

I don't really find North Korea as much of a threat. Because they are an isolated dictatorship, they need to make stories about the world, and show off, to make them seem exceptional compared to the rest of the world, and believe in military might and war, which is instilled from a very young age. It's not so different from America, and is taken from the same bowl of crazy, at a different angle.

of course we all have our own ideas of what may happen,
or of what we would/could do,...

put ALL of your Trust and Faith in your Maker, and just let it slide...
for those who belong to Him, must give ALL of their hearts to Him in
the Faith that He has blessed them with...

definitely a 'learning process', but Who Else would anyone want to Trust
and Believe-in to be their TEACHER???

I've been reading articles on NK's nuclear missiles. From a Canadian perspective, he is not likely to intentionally nuke us. However, if his missiles fall short of say, Chicago, they will end up in Canada naturally!

So far our detestable Prime Minister, Trudeau, has taken issue with posturing by NK, but seems to have no clue how to deal with it, including getting on board with whatever our ally the US decides to do! Typical, he is such a loser!
