Anything above our needs is not our money for personal use,but for the poor and needy,so we can never be rich, unless we disobey God,and it is quite sad according to the flesh,to not be able to enjoy the fine things in life, but good in the Spirit that the poor and needy are being helped.
But the true riches is being in Christ, and the riches of the world does not compare to the riches God gives us,for what can beat eternal life, and the peace, love, and joy,of the Holy Spirit, when the world can be disturbed.
Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Mat 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
A person could gain the whole world, all the possessions, and money thereof, and it does not profit them in the long run.
2Co 6:10 As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
God blesses us with our needs, not our wants, for He loves people, and we must love people, and the saints appear poor to the world, although they have their needs met,but they do not have the riches of the world, and possessions,in which the world views those things as riches, and the saints appear as having nothing, but they possess all things to be given to them in due time.
Some Jews complained that they serve God,but it is vain, for the wicked do not care, but they prosper, and see no trouble.
Mal 3:13 Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
Mal 3:14 Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
Mal 3:15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
What up with that, saith the Jews, that we serve God,but it is vain, and what profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, for those that do not even care about God live high on the hog,and have riches, and prosper, and see no trouble.
Mal 3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Mal 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
Mal 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Now hold up,saith the LORD,there is going to come a day when you will see who is truly blessed, and who is not blessed.
Mal 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Mal 4:3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
How do you like them apples, saith the LORD,now you see who is truly blessed, and who is not,for those that care about the riches of the world, and their wickedness to not care about other people will cease one day,and be no more, but you will shine bright for all eternity.

Psa 73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
Psa 73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
Psa 73:18 Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.
