Saw this on MSNBC just now (Saturday, September 2nd, 2017; 4:00PM Mountain Time)
President Donald Trump and First Lady Ivanka landed via AirForce One (Presidential 747 airliner), and greeted residents effected by the damage of Hurricane Harvey, visited Texas and Louisiana.

This was very comforting to see the huge Airforce One 747 Airliner carrying one of the most powerful leaders of the world and one of the most powerful nations, America, one of the primary leaders of the free-world, on a mission of peace in America, that demonstrated one of the most amazing things of America-- Civilian leadership, backed by a powerful military peacekeeping presence in the world.
This is one of the main duties of government in America, to show a united presence of state power and authority, backed by a Nation founded as "One Nation Under God." A Nation that welcomes all people and all beliefs who have peaceful intentions, and come here to enjoy peace and prosperity and freedom, and not underlying malicious intentions.
God has given America great power to be used for purposes that would be endorsed by the values of our historical Judeo-Christian foundational roots, which is the most centralized, powerful and authoritative presentation in history of God's power, even though America separates Church and State.
But, as we can often see here in America, God's power expressed in nature is much greater than man's power. All of the combined nuclear bombs in the world, even back in the Cold War with the Soviet Union, when each side had roughly 8,000 Megatons of nuclear power (the bombs used in WWII were 20kilotons, if I think, which is 1/50th? of a 1Megaton bomb, which might be considered small today-- I think they were putting 50 Megaton warheads on missiles in the Cold War? which is pretty scary math)
But--
It is all only a small speck-- a pinhead on the surface of the sun, created by God.
The same God who walked the earth as Jesus.
His mother is Mary.
His way was prepared by Abraham and Sarah, Moses and his wife, Prophets like Isaiah and Elijah, to name two, Joseph (Foster Father of Jesus) and Mary, and the last Prophet of the Judaic Testament, John the Baptist. Moses and Elijah appeared on the mountain with Jesus for a reason. Jesus was Jewish for a reason-- not ethnic, just a continuity of the Revelation of Salvation history.

The Christian message--the Good News that humanity now have a restored way to Heaven-- is for all people of all races and all religions. I believe Jesus was not Black or White, for a reason, but was Brown in human appearance--a person of color.

This is why we need to unite under our President during these times of crisis, nationally and internationally.I believe this hurricane was a small "shot across the bow of the ship," so-to-speak--
a warning to America and the world, to get it together--

to prepare the ship for rough seas ahead, whenever they may occur-- the ship should always be ready for storms.
Was America more prepared for hurricane Harvey since hurricane Katrina?
These hurricanes don't just appear out of nowhere and people wonder why--
it's hurricane alley--this is what happens at the western end of the Atlantic Ocean, on a regular basis.

About the LORD of Heaven and Earth, the LORD who appeared on Mt. Sinai, and the LORD who walked the earth as Jesus of Nazareth, the Bible says:

"You yourself are from the everlasting past.
The mighty oceans have roared, O LORD.
The mighty oceans roar as they pound the shore.
But mightier than the violent raging of the seas,
mightier than the breakers on the shore,
the LORD above is mightier than these."
Psalm 93:2-4

showing-up - not showing-up; it's All about us being 'fed' what this world wants
us to hear or heed, or follow...satan-influence'...

stand apart dear Brothers and Sisters, be separate, be 'peculiar',..as opposed to
the world's meaning of peculiar! this would mean, 'total-surrender', come on,

Honor authorities placed over you
--Apostle Peter

Just wanted to add a follow-up, after reading about another nutcase plowing their car into officers of the Law assisting a motorist. No one is authorized to take revenge against a very small fraction of public servants who may have abused authority against citizens, including minorities.

The Christian message is one of peace, which was also confirmed by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, and all the pastors who were courageous enough to risk their lives to support him and the message of social justice and equality.
While the use of authorized deadly force is sometimes necessary, by those who are authorized to use it-- state and federal officers and the military-- it is not authorized for any citizens, or anyone who thinks they are getting a bad rap from the government, to threaten any public servants. It is especially not authorized for Christians to ever take the law into their own hands, and especially not against authorized public servants who represent legitimate authority of the United States of America, and which is also considered by Christ and the Apostles to represent divine authority revealed through Judeo-Christian revelation.

It may not be a perfect justice system here in America, and I am actively involved in peaceful justice reform, social reform, and religious reform, but, here in America, state power and authority is always meant to be an extension of divine authority. Even Jesus told the evil governor who was about to execute him at the demands of the mob and corrupt religious leaders, that those who handed him over to the Roman state "had the greater sin," especially since the Roman governor tried to use his authority to honor the law and stop them since he knew what was motivating them.
He did this to honor state authority, even in it's most imperfect form, being used by the Roman empire to intimidate and control the people they had conquered, the brutal and sickening torture of driving spikes into their enemies and tying them on wooden racks in the air for all to see.
If we can even begin to imagine how or why, a supreme being would come to this brutal and violent world, and voluntarily choose such a death, even being the most innocent human being who ever lived, we could begin to understand God's eternal Love and Mercy and true Justice which is the two-edged sword of Justice and Mercy.
Jesus took the punishment for every imaginable sin of humanity.
We don't have to punish ourselves.
We don't have to punish each other.
And we don't have to punish our neighbor's for their sins and destroy their lives for making mistakes, especially younger people. (And no, I haven't knowingly committed any capital/criminal offenses, so I am not involved with justice reform for that reason).
I can just relate to being imprisoned, having been imprisoned for most of my life from emotional health purgatory of depression, in the past, and so, can relate to those who have been oppressed, including Black African-American citizens of America, and including indiginous peoples, as in the region where I live.
Unfortunately, racism knows no color, or nationality, or ethnic or behavioral or cultural, or emotional/mental, age, or sexuality, religious, or other boundaries-- it's all motivated by evil malicious enemies of God and enemies of the Kingdom of Heaven's Love, Mercy, and Peaceful relations in life.
Jesus said, "The meek will inherit the earth."
He signed this with His own blood.
It will happen.

The Apostle Peter confirmed this in saying,
"And now this Good News has been announced by those who preached to you in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from Heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen." (1 Peter 2: 12; NLT).

He also endorsed obeying all authorities of state, regardless or our interpretations of their actions or character--He commanded it.
"For the LORD's sake, accept all authority--the king as head of state, and the officials he has appointed. For the king has sent them to punish all who do wrong and to honor those who do right. It is God's will that your good lives should silence those who make foolish accusations against you. You are not slaves...
...Show respect for everyone. Love your Christian brothers and sisters. Fear God.
Show respect for the king." (1 Peter 2:13-17--NLT).

"For you have been born again. Your new life did not come from your earthly parents because the life they gave you will end in death. But this new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living Word of God.
As the prophet says,
[all] 'People are like grass that dies away;
their beauty fades as quickly as the beauty of wildflowers.
The grass withers,
and the flowers fall away.
But the word of the Lord will last forever."
'And that word of the Lord will last forever.'"
(1 Peter 2:23-25)

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., namesake of German Monk, Rev. Martin Luther, who later married and was also a voice of freedom in history, confirmed this in saying that,

(Quotes are from: Bridging the Ecclesial, the Academic and the Political; Archbishop Iakovos, martin Luther King Jr., and The Challenge of Selma, by Andrew Estocin--I apologize for no page numbers, and I don't think internet addresses are allowed in here? but, it is from the website, publicorthodoxy (dot) org)
"we need to move from a thing-oriented society to a person-oriented society."
'He based his belief in the value of the human person on our common identity as children of God, made in God's image and so worthy of respect.'
"Every man [or woman] (brackets added) is somebody, because he [or she] is a child of God" (Washington, p. 255).
'And the image of God "is universally shared in equal portions by all." "Every human being has etched in his [or her] personality the indelible stamp of the Creator." 'If any person is "treated as anything less than a person of sacred worth, the image of God is abused in him [or her] and consequently and proportionately lost by those who inflict this abuse" ' (Washington, p. 119)
--Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In this summary by Andrew Estocin, Estocin says Dr. King believed that 'Human relationship then should be ruled by love--love defined not as affection but as

"an understanding, redeeming good will for all. "When I speak of love," King explained, "I am not speaking of some sentimental and weak response. I am speaking of that force which all the great religions have seen as the unifying principle of life." ... "Whether we call it an unconscious process, an impersonal Brahman, or a Personal Being of matchless power and infinite love, there is a creative force in this universe that works to bring the disconnected aspects of reality into a harmonious whole." (Washington, p. 254).
--Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

This also confirms the Apostle John's teaching that emotions, or our hearts, or minds, are not great enough to either save or condemn us--only a power greater than ourselves.
"if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart." (verse? shortly)

And the Apostle James in emphasizing true faith is love in action "faith without works is dead,"
and theApostle Paul: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God..." (Ephesians 2:8).

*Note: Aarchbishop Iakovos was a Greek Orthodox bishop who risked his life, and was threatened by marching with, and defending Dr. Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., along with other pastors and religious leaders in the 1960's.
I feel I have the right to quote Dr. King since I organized a Martin Luther King observance where I lived two years ago, and because there was a large earthquake, one of the largest and longest, and of the same type--- a tectonic "slip-strike" quake 7.1, that occurred while I was preparing this presentation and making the video of Dr.King's "I Have a Dream," speech. And also because I experienced the 1964 quake as a child. And because this quake occurred soon after I had a dream of my own of a huge button suspended over a volcanic range--similar to where the epicenter of the quake occurred, where I believed God was teaching me that Divine Power is far greater than man's power, because I stated publicly that France should have used a warning nuke against the terrorists. Obviously this is not the answer.
Only truth has the power to defeat evil.

Name of First Lady is "Melania," not "Ivanka."
Correction!! I'm very sorry for the mistake--
The name of the First Lady, Mrs. Donald Trump, is "Melania," not Ivanka, who is the daughter of Donald Trump.
Afterall, I have been living in the Alaska wilderness for a few months without much news, and have some minor memory issues--

But, maybe it is prophetic? Maybe Ivanka will be First Lady some day...
8 years from now--
Or first lady president?
My apologies--
