May we never forget the innocent lives lost. The heroes who fought to save as many as they could, many losing their own lives in the process. And Benghazi where heroic men put their lives on the line even though it was not their job. Never forget.

I was reading this post, thinking "why on earth was this posted", and it took me a moment to realize what today is.

Its crazy how easy it is to forget such things and just move past them.

I think with Texas and FL in the news it was easy to miss this year. But I agree with Lady Blue,we must never forget.

I was down at the site for a few days helping out a few days after it happened.
A sight and experience I will never forget.
Then I moved to a few blocks from there 6 years later,
My wife was working as a bond trader on Wall St at the time.
I still cry every time the anniversary comes around.

I feel very happy and secure and even a sort of a kinship that a native New Yorker who loves the city and America was doing the presidential obligations today.

I cannot imagine. My mind can't go there, the suffering, fear and pain. So many innocent,so many heroes. What a selfless thing to do to try and help. But Im sure it will always be with you.

I hope you are right. But we have people that deny the Holocaust ever happened, and there are all kinds of conspiracy theories about 9/11. Its a pity that the dead are not allowed to be grieved and remembered once laid to rest.

As I mentioned on the other thread, I despise 9/11 truthers. They come crawling out every 911

I feel about the same.It dishonors the heroes and the dead. And it takes away the guilt of those who murdered nearly 3000 innocent people.

Just like every other major event in our history that "never will be forgotten," this one too will pass.

Just in this nation's not so distant past "a date that will live in infamy" most Americans couldn't tell you the date of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Just as in the past, as the generation that saw 9/11 happen ages and dies, it (unfortunately) and most likely the lessons learned from it, will become nothing more than a blip on the historical radar.

Maybe Mrs. Clinton is counting on that oncefallen.

I hope we never forget. And remember what the new world order wants to accomplish.
