Another Obamacare Bill is Failing

I've heard it before. This is the last attempt to repeal and/or replace Obamacare. With Senator McCain's opposition ("I think that we can do better if we work with the democrats") it appears that the bill will fail once again. When the democrat's were in this situation, they were able to buy the last vote needed to pass the bill. The republican holdouts cannot be bought.

I don't know if McCain could be called a traitor for turning his back on his constituents and his own campaign promises. But he is certainly a very small and petty man to use this to get back at Trump for his stupid remark about liking people who didn't get captured.

the Koch brothers told the GOP that "the piggy bank's closed" until they get health care dismantled & more tax breaks for the 1% passed, withdrawing their $400 million dollar 'bribe' or, um, 'impetus' or.. erm, 'totally not a policy-buying donation?' now that the latest in 7 years of failed attempts looks likewise doomed.

McCain is nothing but a sourpuss trump-hater. Without his vote they will never get anything passed. The GOP should get rid of him.

This bill probably won't pass because many republicans are against it. The bill basically turns the funding for obamacare over to the states for the next 10 years to continue meeting the Obamacare guaranteed benefits dates, and then it is defunded, there really is no "replacement".

There period to be able to push these bills easily ends September 30th. There is currently a "bipartisan effort" working on a plan to alter obamacare laws slightly, without really affecting the programs. That is probably what will get passed in the next couple days.
