Also consider the fact that a person who is frightened and inexperience with a firearm is a potential liability. He could miss his intended target and hit an innocent bystander.

I think that it is extensive if you want a concealed carry permit.

Personally, I don't need to carry a gun because I can drive people away with really bad jokes.

These are just a few examples of slinging your rifle in the front, the only proper way. None of these methods requires you to keep your hand on it.
