This is a video claiming recent archaelogy proves Jesus was a real person.
1. I haven't watched it yet, so I have no idea if it's a good video, or if the evidence it presents is good evidence.
2. Whether this video is good or bad, more archaelogy is NOT necessary to prove Jesus was a real person.
Virtually all historians of any note have already agreed Jesus was a real historical figure.
Further evidence may be great, but it isn't required in order to do apologetics work with atheists.
3. The issue of Jesus as a "real historical figure" is NOT DISPUTED AMONG SERIOUS HISTORIANS ANYWAY.
All serious historians agree Jesus was a real historical figure.
This is not disputed.
This is only disputed by a few angry atheists here and there who have no idea what they're talking about.
Real historians do not dispute the existence of Jesus... there is simply far too much realiable evidence.
4. There is so much historical evidence regarding Jesus, that not only do all serious historians agree he was real, but there is actually enough evidence to PROVE THE RESURRECTION OCCURRED in formal debate.
Think about that a while.

I watched the video expecting to see some up to date discovery but most of this is old news. I was in Israel back in 1994 and I went to Capernaum and saw the remains of what is believed to be Peters house. Discoveries certainly bring the Gospels to life but most people accepted that Jesus existed long before anything had been found by Archaeologists.
