Radio News Show: "If you can't teach My truth in My love and kindness, then don't."

I heard this the other day on a Christian radio show. I didn't catch the lady's name, but, I'm going to try to track it down by calling the radio station. She said that years ago, her/their ministry was going to publish in nearly 100 newspapers, and she felt the Lord was encouraging her and preparing her/their ministry to teach the Gospel with His kindness:

"If you can't teach My truth in My love and kindness, then don't." Because it can do more harm than good.

I am not certain what is being said here but it does remind me of something on my mind.
The main stream Christian community, at least the vocal ones, are a very angry, disrespectful and ill mannered lot. Our commander in chief encouraging and giving them justification to be this way. It's just not Christ like and I think it is hurting the Christian faith. Read the Bible folks! It's about love, kindness and piece , as liberal as it may sound.

You are on a christian forum, so perhaps if you're going to slander then entire "mainstream christian community" as being "angry, disrespectful, and ill mannered"... you should back that up with some proof.

And a few clips from a liberal news show, of a few christians acting stupid, isn't really enough to slander the entire "mainstream christian community".

In fact, I really have no idea HOW YOU COULD POSSIBLY PROVE what you said.

I can't see any way you could possibly check the behavior of the entire "mainstream christian community" in order to arrive at that conclusion.

So you changed your mind, mid sentence, and decided that instead of the entirety of mainstream christianity, you just meant the "vocal ones"

But we still have the same problem; just precisely HOW MANY CHRISTIANS are these "vocal ones" that you dislike?

How many?

What number precisely makes up these "vocal ones" you dislike?

- Is that 3 stupid Christians you saw on a news clip?
- Is that 10 stupid Christians you saw on a news clip?
- Is that 20 stupid Christians?
- Is that 100 stupid Christians?

* Just precisely how many Christians can you actually VERIFY as being "angry, disrespectful, and ill mannered"?

* Now, considering there are TWO BILLION CHRISTIANS IN THE WORLD...
just precisely WHAT PERCENTAGE OF THE TOTAL MIGHT THAT BE?



I'm quite certain you don't have answers to ANY of these question...
but rather, you just chose to slander the ENTIRE MAINSTREAM CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY while having ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO SUPPORT ANYTHING YOU SAID... it was just slander.

The president is only the commander-in-chief of the military and not the civilians. If you are not currently on active duty in the military the president is not your commander-in-chief.

Mercy and love?? Could you please explain?? How can a saved murdering person get into heaven and a good natured doubtful person be torched forever.??? There is a direct contradiction there. The suspension of justice though mercy on the willingness to believe in Jesus. While the mere doubt of belief regardless of all the good work one has done for the betterment of society. Will be punished forever

The 10 commandments are in the old testament. You can't pick and choose. Besides read the book of Mathew!! I'm pretty sure that Jesus said that not a jot or tittle of the old law shall be broken until all things have come to pass.

That's correct. If you are not covered by grace through faith in His shed righteous blood for the payment of your sins, then your sins will be judged under every jot and tittle of the law, and you will be found guilty and condemned as charged under the law.

How is it immoral to tell you that if you break the law you will be judged under that same same law? You make no sense, affirming the law in one post and then complaining bitterly about it the next. Not to worry; I know logical consistency is not the non believers forte :)
