AT&T just gave $1000 bonus to 200,000 employees. They also announced that they would be laying off 600 employees. Most of those being laid off are involved in installation and maintenance of legacy technology.

It may be a good deal for those who work in legacy technology. They said that most of those laid off would be offered retraining and placement in other parts of the company. The new jobs are, in general, better paying.

is this a joke, Bill, (better-paying?!?!) - (OUT-SOURCING????????)= is the name of the game:
I often wonder just how many truly know what this means and what the only
out-come could be, after 'selling-out your own self/kin/friends/tax-payers, ETC!?!..,

'fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews,
cousins', please, take-care-of-each-other,,,

we know what we're talking about through what we have been shown/lived
through our 'life-times', thus far...
