ya'll do realize, know that 'real MEAT' is NOT PINK!

skin a deer or skin a chicken, or turkey, the proof is in the cleaning of the meating!!!
the poisons that we willingly in-jest is truly amazing!!!

the heartache, is that most don't even care...Temple be thrown under the bus,
for lusts sake!... at the very least, try and go 'organic'...

It's point often sorely missed. What is injected into salmon, all those shades of pink, is but one form of chemical that is ingested in that entire process.

Yes, true, it is much better than the olden days of my youth, but I was the woman told that "he gets more pay because he has a family to support and has been in this field for years."

"He" did the same thing I did. We were both bookkeepers and phone answerers for two factories in one building. I was the one to do the AP/AR work for one company, he did for the other one. I was the gate-keepr for any incoming calls. He got the calls for that company after I transferred them to him. I was also responsible for making sure all the books were ready for the accountants come tax-paying-March. And I handled calls from salespeople across the country, plus their commissions. He was the sales person for that side of the business. Ultimately, I knew how much everyone was paid, because I handled all the bookkeeping, including payroll. He did not. So, our job was equal.

His "family?" We were both married with no kids at home.

More experience in that field? Yeah, well I had 8 years of work with that company, so exactly that much experience in that field. He had two years working there.

He deserved the money he was paid, so it's not like I think he was less than me. But I deserved the same as him, because I'm not less either.

Ultimately, this was really a case of "women don't need as much." Sure we do. Just as much as men.

I could have sued, but then again, I didn't have the money to waste time in litigation to get something I deserved. The laws are whacked. It really isn't all that illegal to pay men more. Until it is clear a woman deserves, and gets, the same pay as a man for the same job, I am a feminist.
Well, that's ridiculous of that company, I agree, unless your husband was also working. Perhaps your male co-worker was the sole provider for he and his wife... Just a thought.

To be honest, I do think the statistics are very misleading for the fact that there are (I'm guessing) more stay-at-home mothers than stay-at-home fathers, and there are more men engaged in dangerous and manual labor kind of jobs that simply don't interest most women - things like demolition, carpentry, construction, roofing, electric, paving, field work (as in a farm), lumber harvesting, vehicle repairs, commercial fishing, butchering, etc. Can women do these things? Sure. Do most women? Not really. And, actually, these physical jobs often pay less (ironically) than many office-type jobs in which many women are employed. So the opportunities for women to make a comparable amount of money are many. But not all women want to be "working women". There are women like my mother who homeschooled rather than pursued her own career, for example. It was a huge sacrifice and I know it was hard for her to see peers excelling in the business world while her own college degree seemed farther and farther in the past.

Also, women often have the ability to take off from work for personal reasons which men cannot (sometimes paid leave, sometimes not). So their absence from work on some days may also affect the overall earnings comparison.

I don't wish to be involved in a debate at all. these are just some possibilities I can think of for the supposed pay gap between men and women.

what does it really matter in the long run, or what will it really change according to God's Ways
for His formula for a man and a woman?!?!? in our precious world???

it will be as our Saviour desires, come hell or high water!!!
