I watched the video and some others.

I think that the person doing the "show" left out some important factors.

The USA should have had a jar with 325 gumballs, then it would show that the one gumball per year was in reality a very small addition to the USA jar.

Also he leaves out the fact that the USA has vast amounts of open and unoccupied land, Montana, Wyoming, Alaska, to mention a few.

His views are what I would call propaganda. Slanted "truth".

I see at the end, he did lose his marbles.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result each time. Almost no economist endorses trickle down theory, and each time the U.S. tried it the country went into recession. Right now big business in the U.S are sitting on record profits and have instead downsized, not hired or given raises. When asked at a GOP meeting they even flat out said they will use their tax cuts to buy back stock, not invest.

My point is not about fairness, but about "trickle down". Given that many companies in this moment
are all of cash and not investing enough in american workers, why do you expect they will invest the extra
pile that they will get from tax cuts?
I expect that they will use them mostly to pay dividends to rich shareholders.

I think your dynamic was accomplished via unions in detroit.

an also ran in the last election for President and IMO, sporting a rather big jealousy problem as he consistently has negative things to say and often begins his little speeches with 'well, if I were President I would have....'

Uhm... no, we're comfortable. You must have missed that in a previous post. We have what we need and don't labor after that we do not need. And we are very concerned for those who make less. Guessed you missed that too the first 100 times I said it. Or, we WERE concerned for those who make less.

But you've won a convert! You changed my mind! 60 isn't too old to start packing in the greenbacks. We were going to donate this months excess to a couple food pantries, but screw them leeches we're putting it in the stock market now. Goldman Sachs is a good investment right now isn't it? They have been given the purse string of the US Treasury so I assume they're only going to go up up and up some more.
