Ok,the reason trickle down does work is because poor people do not hire ANYONE. Rich people do.

Companies have to make large profit margins. They have to.

They will close down on a tiny profit and move their energy and money somewhere else.

That is why trickle down does work.
Sorry, I do not understand much about economics but I have a few questions:

- Many companies are already swimming in cash (I know because I hear it at work). If they do not invest
this cash now into american workers, why should they do it tomorrow?

- Don't they have many other things they can do with cash: pay dividends, invest abroad, etc?

I live in the States. Married an American quite a few years ago.

So I AM in America

that all you got? no wonder some people do not like Americans. your response would explain why

I don't 'got' Trudeau. What I actually DO got, is salvation and that is not distributed under a flag...nor is intelligence.
How can I dislike you and agree with you in such equal measure? I feel so conflicted.

Strangely enough, that goes both ways.
well of course it can

here is some current revisionist history

set the stage for Scene 1 Act 1 Trump colluded with Russia...Russia Russia Russia...Trump Trump Trump..blah blah blah votes were rigged...Russia interfered with election...blah blah blah

Scene 1. Act II Clinton should have won! Trump stole the election...Russia Russia Russia blah blah blah
repeat with enthusiasm and stern expressions...reach out for the love of your constituents
who found you walking in the woods and posted selfies on instagram (google if this one eludes you)

Scene 2 Act I Declare Trump is insane because it seems the Dossier that was put together in the land of Grimm's Fairy Tales, is not believable and has been declared ... fake and phony which means a whole lot more of

Scene 2 Act II Fake News!!! and reporting events that never happened or actually happened, but only completely different from what is reported on the Clinton News Network

Scene 2 Act III Begin to stir up a movement to have Trump impeached! call him insane and unfit for office
repeat with angry indignant facial twistings even if it means that you look insane yourself

Scene 3 Act I become strangely quiet as discomforting facts are slowly being pulled out of the 'movement to have Trump impeached' aka the Mueller probe, that seemingly point the all accusing finger doing a 180

Scene 3 Act II Commence with Scene 1 Act 1 all over again cause it's all you got. set up your fellow dems for sexual misconduct charges...especially if they are true and you won't have to look far it's called Hollywood...and then unveil the political philandering scandals with intent to swivel in the direction of Trump

Scene 3 Act III Go nuclear and create an entire movement and call it 'me too' and allow women who may have been in some way sexually exploited, whether through an actual attack or simply with unwanted words, (that at the time may have been accepted as a bit of a compliment because after all, truth be told, many women dress to be complimented, taken notice of,
desired, made advances to, or just to show off and taunt)

Scene 4 Act I call in what certain people...many dems, actually consider to be the power in Washington
aka Hollywood, once again, and dress in black and show your 'woman power' where necklines can go from the breastbone to the navel and hemlines can slit from the floor to the navel and hmmmm...if you go for both, no imagination needed. but hey. it's Hollywood and they are gods and demand worship

Scene 4 Act II advance this entire scenario by invoking the morality you entirely lack yourself and demanding Trump is immoral etc etc etc, a racist etc etc and include the already foregone diagnosis of insanity provided by those who cannot look themselves in the mirror without pretending to be someone they are not

that, is revisionist history gone awry, but the truth may yet prevail God willing

* please note, this is the Reader's Digest version...that is, condensed

Two big slices of pie right here, orange and blue. Neither one of them encompass programs that are explicitly authorized by the U.S constitution. Should be privatized and put to the states or the people where it belongs.

I notice you didn't post the other important graph. Military spending suddenly dwarfs all others considerably.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result each time. Almost no economist endorses trickle down theory, and each time the U.S. tried it the country went into recession. Right now big business in the U.S are sitting on record profits and have instead downsized, not hired or given raises. When asked at a GOP meeting they even flat out said they will use their tax cuts to buy back stock, not invest.

Discretionary spending is not the same as the budget.
By the way, you should send a "Thank you" letter to the United States, for keeping Canada safe. Y'all couldn't do it yourselves. The U.S. could send cub scouts across the border, and annihilate the Canadian military.

Insanity is a legal theory.... that the accused was not aware at the time of their crime, it was wrong, and therefore could not be held responsible.

The secret to effective trolling is not being obvious about it. You also have to be smarter than the average forum goer. You are a spectacular failure on both counts.

It's only trolling if, I wasn't obvious about my disdain for ungrateful socialist.

I wouldn't want to travel to Africa or Haiti. The way Europe is shaping up, I'll probably count them out too.

Trump proved with bannon,he does not understand the vulnerability of second guessing the swamp.
Bannon was part of the brainchild that got trump elected. Now the snake bannon has mustered his strongest venom. Trump shook him off in the fire. The man, bannon is a shriveling paper tiger. He is NA.

The S...hole thinggy is a he said, she said. Trump WILL BE RECORDING everything starting immediately.

The tax thinggy was brilliant. Put thousands in the hands of families that hate him. (child tax credit doubling).
Also,Corporate tax breaks in the billions to get factories back to USA.

had to happen.

You are top heavy in class warfare,so the big picture is murky.
His tax thingy won't put a single penny into my hands. And yes, hundreds maybe thousands to families on a temporary basis, and millions to fat cats permanently. Sure that's fair. And when asked if they will repatriate and share the wealth, no corporate fat cats raised their hands. Will corporations repatriate and share the wealth? Remains to be seen. Some have stepped up with, again, temporary bonuses. But their tax break is permanent. And yeah he got rid of Bannon. Now how about Mnuchin and his ilk?

Ok,the reason trickle down does work is because poor people do not hire ANYONE. Rich people do.
Rich people do not create jobs, CONSUMERS DO. No rich man ever paid anyone to make something no one is buying. Supply and demand requires DEMAND. And people have to have the earnings that enables them to buy to create demand. Unless of course you depend on the world of credit. Which is another sinkhole in itself.

Tell the people of Kansas that trickle down works.

Or the millions who lost middle class jobs in the great recession, only to see those jobs be replaced by low wage positions.

Trickle down is a lie. Bought into hook, line, and sinker by the very few it actually does help. You know, the people who don't need it.

Then what candidate do you have in mind?
At this time there isn't one, because too many people have been sold on the lie that only the current two parties are acceptable.
