In war, there are heroes and honorable soldiers/enlisted personnel/combat crews, and there are those who take unethical or immoral actions, either deliberately or accidentally. I still think Manning and Snowden could have taken actions through legal channels, instead of massive acts of suicidal treason-meltdown.

As far as abortion goes--
This is what candidate Carly Fiorina said:
"This latest news is tragic and outrageous. This isn't about 'choice'. It's about profiting on the death of the unborn while telling women it's about empowerment". ... she harshly criticized Planned Parenthood and their involvement in fetal tissue donation,stating "I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, 'We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain'".
(Carly Fiorina--Sept. 16, 2015, presidential debate; wikipedia.org)
I believe Hillary Clinton, a supporter of Planned Parenthood, even referred to these video's as disturbing.

This is what the prophet Isaiah said:
"You slaughter your children as human sacrifices..." (Isaiah 57:5) [/COLOR]
Yes, it should be our responsibility to own up when we make a mistake. When someone does something so absolutely disturbing and evil, we own our mistake and make it a priority to not repeat our actions again... we DO NOT slap a classified label on it to cover up a massacre of innocent civilians. I expect the mafia to run this way, or Hillary Clinton, but they are hardly the beacon of light the world needs.

I don't see the need to wait to "file a complaint". If an American wanted to file a formal complaint about how the Federal Reserve is unconstitutional, do you think they will suddenly get rid of the Federal Reserve? Let's not be naive.

Really?! What about the crime that puts one in solitary confinement? What about the victims? Is their crime an affront to humanity? Am I wrong or did not people lose their lives to find Bradley Manning? The punishment was just.

It's telling about your character that you consider the people purposely bombing civilians and torturing detainees to death as the victims in this.

I am sure you can provide reliable sources to prove your charges. So please do so.

Absolutely wrong! It's not all your fault though. Chances are you listen to FOX News (but it was all the lying mainstream media, not just FOX) and they kept spewing the same lie... "Manning has blood on his hands..." As stated previously, the Counter-Intelligence lead officer for the Pentagon review over the Manning leaks debunked this claim by saying they were unsuccessful in finding even one casualty as a result of the leak. All the leak did was expose what was really going on. How terrible of Manning huh... :rolleyes:

Speaking of solitary confinement... Did you know they put Manning in solitary confinement as punishment for trying to kill himself? It's a shame as solitary confinement will only make one more suicidal...

That's interesting. I would expect he'd get solitary to protect him from other inmates, not himself.

Also, your commentary on the leak has been so spot-on, I feel no need to add a thing. Kudos.

I knew goldilocks would show up here eventually-- (just razzin' you)
you can probably find asylum in America if Canada deports you;
or an asylum...
ok, I'll stop--
your freedom of speech is valued--even if you get stoned for your opinions...

Obviously you never actually read anything about what was contained in his leaks.

Can you provide the links so I can read them?

Would you even care if it turned out I was correct?

Regardless I don't know what the policy is on posting links to wikileaks. If you really care it's not hard to find the information.

Notice #4... They killed civilians (shot an infant in the head as well as other children) and ordered an air strike to destroy the evidence.

But... because Manning saw something and said something, he isn't a patriot, he's a "traitor". I'd love to change the ridiculous title of this thread. The same people who call Manning a "traitor" are the same people who probably think the 56 patriots who signed the Declaration of Independence were "traitors" too. I suppose it's all about perception though right?

you never inhaled--well that's one thing we have in common; stoned is a figure of speech though, and refers to being hit by counter-opinions as if they were "stones."

and i'm going to confess my back-sliding lately to you since you are so bold about your lifestyle, except that I committed fornication of the heart, which is not a joking matter either, with female memories--
but, sin is sin whether it is heterosexual or otherwise--
thank-you for hearing my confession--

I still think he could have tried to go through proper channels rather than massive treason--
And I agree with hipster that punishing someone for attempting suicide, which is generally the target outcome by design, clearly amounts to "cruel and unusual punishment," a violation of the 8th and 14th amendments. So two wrongs don't make a right. Manning lasted 7 years into a 35 years sentence, also "cruel and unusual punishment."
Sandra Bland of Texas, lasted only three days, after a promising career out of graduate school, and a "courageous" advocate for civil rights, her family said.

You Millenials (Millenial Generation) are going to be responsible for peacefully overthrowing the obsolete, archaic, 1600's/1800's prisoner-of-war camps of the past, since it is the younger generation who are dying from institutional shock after only days or even hours in the horrifying relics of dungeons of death from lost, "Dark Ages," mentalities, similar to those that didn't hesitate to crucify innocent people or common thieves. Modern institutions of confinement are not designed to reform people; They are strategically and psychologically designed to annihilate the last remnants of a person's humanity, make them hopelessly institutionalized and welfare-dependent even after short periods of time.
People will look back on some of the practices of the 20th century and still today, as horrifying beyond belief.

So rise up Hipster man-- teke them by truth and the power of God;
not by force;
CAN'T STOP A TSUNAMI OF CHANGE ORDERED BY THE LORD--

Stoned means to be high on drugs which you know.

Publicly accusing someone of drug use is actually slander. It's also false witness since it isn't true, you can find it in that bible you claim to believe in.
