Anymore of this, the president will have to send federal troops to Sacramento.

‘We will prosecute’ employers who help immigration sweeps, California AG says. https://tiny.iavian.net/l5qk

It's pretty sad... While there is a group of people who champion Kim Davis for refusing to follow the law, we have another group of people who will prosecute someone FOR DOING THEIR JOB.

The liberals are the fascists! They refuse to give up illegals who have committed crimes in this state and those who have been deported more than once. Last year they gave themselves unlimited power to raise our gasoline tax without a vote from the public. They are now threatening to punish businesses who cooperate with law enforcement. They are proposing jail time for anyone who calls a transgender by their former sex... and the list goes on!

Unfortunately, I think that has to first be requested by the state. It's kind of a catch 22 we roped ourselves into.

Perhaps Fat Boy, Kim, will end up doing America a huge favor if he selects the Western coast of the USA to target.

Something we in Australia find really bizarre about the U.S.A. are news stories about how State governments and your counties (our local councils and shires) can openly flout and deny Federal Law.
Is the Civil War still going on over there?
How can a "law abiding" democracy be always in such a state of turmoil and conflict?

Australia is a federation of states and territories as well. But our High Court has always ruled that Federal laws ALWAYS supersedes all State laws.
The national Parliament always wins and if any State defies Canberra they don't get any money.
The rule of law is seen as paramount.
Everybody is subject to the law whether we like it or not.

In the United States, the federal government is organized as a republic. Federal law is only supreme, if the legislation is specifically authorized as granted in article 1, section 8 of the constitution. If that power was not granted to congress, then it's reserved to the states, or the people, as stated in the 10th amendment.

Unfortunately for California, authority over immigration law is granted to the US government, not the states.

That may well be. But when watching the news it comes across that even despite this rogue States still do what they want and openly flout the law and the Constitution.

We have States rights and Federal law through our constitution. Whatever the High Court determines over who can do what rules and is implemented. No State Premier would defy Canberra - just doesn't happen.
Mind you though Canberra does have all the money - that helps.

Well, you have to keep in mind that most Liberals have been working very hard to change America into an Islam State. It seems to be their fondest desire.

How ironic. Liberals have no idea about the power of religion and what it means to adherents.
Give them a taste of Sharia Law.
And when liberals complain well aren't they in for a shock.
Some religions take theocracy very seriously.
All women in schools, colleges and public places must wear head coverings.
And in California the girls will be boardskating in full burkas.

Brother,

When the USA becomes a Christian nation, it will be a RCC Christian nation. They have by far the majority of votes.

Oh, maybe you thought it would be a Baptist nation, or a Church of God, or community church nation.

Maybe they will pass laws that make it to be illegal to be anything but RCC, an official RCC nation, that would be Christian wouldn't it?

When they give tax money to the RCC, they will say, "We gave it to the churches."

A direct channel of tax money to the only true church, the RCC.

Hi Waggles,

I am a California native, although I now live in Oklahoma. What you say about our states buckling under to get money rings true here also. California has always been the wild child. The economy of California is so vast that if it broke off into its own country, it would probably make it into the G8 (as in Great 8) status and supplant someone else. They still need Federal funds it is just that they can wait a little longer.

Enough of this, what has this to do with our Lord Jesus.

Yours, Deade

Fat Boy is going to soon fire at least one missile at the USA. Of that, there is little doubt. Which city would you prefer he hit?

Brother Willie-T,

Why do you believe that any Americans are your enemy?

The Russians are the enemy, not the people, not the families who want to live in peace,

It is Czar Putin that we should view as the enemy.

He is the destroyer of peace and freedom for millions of people.

Aggressor and destroyer of people, his neighbors and his own people.

Why? Why? WHY? When the people of this planet could live in peace with one another, the Russian mothers and fathers could have peace and freedom, why destroy that peace with war and cause chaos.

But you see, chaos is his God, the spirit of lies and murder.

Now he has sown trolls, lies, and division, by means of hate and anger.

He has made some actually believe, that their fellow Americans, who are living in peace, are more of an enemy than Czar Putin.
