Perhaps it is how the information is being presented to you.

For example, you just poo-pooed the big bang.

But think about it - God says that He created the universe out of nothing. Science tells us that out of nothing, kaboom there it is.

Sounds like the same story to me. Yet many on both sides of the issue will insist that the two sides are exclusionary.

We just LIVE to find conflict, even where there is none.

Does science tell you the Big Bang and the succeeding occurrences happened in 7 days?

Even if God's day is 1000 years to us, 7,000 years is a lot shorter than the billions of years it allegedly took.

also how old do you think the universe is 13.7B years?

How about the earth? 4.54B years?

ill stick with the biblical narrative and I will disregard the "scientific" system instituted by Satan.

Like I said, I always see you post here, don't you have better things to do then focusing on these irrelevant topics?

OK so a 4.9% difference in regards to lack of atmospheric pressure, but wouldn't the volume of the gas inside the tires increase regardless? In space, the perfect vacuum, with no container to limit the expansion of the gas wouldn't the tires keep expanding surpassing the strength of the tire?
the tires are a container :)

don't know where you get 4.9% from. 1 atmosphere is about 14.7 psi -- there's a approx. 15 psi difference, it's not by percentage.

What about direct sunlight and changes in temperature? What about the LCD/LED display that says "Do not Panic" wouldn't radiation affect that as well?

yes, the heat and radiation are going to fry all the electronics. there's no atmosphere for heat exchange so the circuits can only shed heat by radiation. satellites and the ISS etc. are built with shielded circuitry and cooling systems, but this car isn't. it's all gonna disintegrate.

the thing about temperature swings isn't that it's like a billion degrees in the sunlight and a million in the shade, it's that there is no atmosphere for heat to exchange with, so whatever is in direct sunlight is getting warmed by the sun and hardly cooling off, and whatever is in the shade is cooling rapidly. it's only getting as much sunlight as the earth itself is, and we don't climb to 10,000 degrees in the daylight -- at this distance from the sun -- more like in the 20's or 40's or something ((have to look it up)) for the upper atmosphere. but we have an atmosphere, and the car doesn't. so even if it's 40-degree sunlight, it's constant, and no wind is moving that heat around, so it won't stay at 40, it'll keep getting hotter, if the car isn't spinning. but it takes time.

yes, the temperature, radiation & micrometeorites will fry the electronics, degrade all the plastics and metal, pop the tires, explode the battery, boil away all the blinker fluid. but it's not going to all happen in the snap of your fingers as soon as the car reaches altitude. the stream Tesla posted was what, only 4 hours or something? 4 hours isn't unreasonable for it all to hold together. it's made of tougher stuff than flesh. a person wouldn't last 4 hours, for sure, but a car? why not?

Standard atmospheric pressure at sea-level Earth is just
14.696 psi. Compare that to 340 or 300 psi ( Shuttle Tires) (23.14 and 20.42 amt, respectively). The difference in internal tire pressure in Earth's atmosphere and absence of atmospheric pressure in vacuum of space is only 4.3 - 4.9%.

4 Hours is enough to fry an LCD/LED display.

LEO temperatures range from -100C to 120C or more.

Look 4 hours isnt enough to destroy the vehicle completely as you stated, but it is enough to fry electronics such as an electronic display.

Conveniently the batteries of the feed died 12 hours after the launch. Are you honestly convinced by the images?

How are these topics irrelevant?

I don't divide over theology, (Unless it is blatantly wrong. not things like who wrote the book of Hebrews, etc) I divide over blatant lies of society.

we're not talking about shuttle tires though, it's car tires. the % difference is actually much greater, because they're nominally inflated to like 1/10 of the pressure, but not enough to blow them up until the rubber degrades. which will definitely happen.

i don't see why the screen & its circuit board shouldn't last 12 hours. it's low voltage, and its components aren't being fried in direct sunlight ((the car is rotating, too)). a circuitboard, if the plastics don't crack from the cold, might work just fine at -200 degrees F, some electronics are rated for this actually, and it'll be warming itself by its own current. at least for 12 hours.

to really figure this out we're going to need to write out some equations and do some math. but it doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

or does "think outside the box" mean to you that i should assume PV ≠ nRT ?

do you believe that PV = nRT or not?

No, but you seem to have your mind consumed on this, dark dark path

Yes the idea gas equation works no doubt, it is basic understanding of physics.

If the tires are under inflated or not inflated at all then yes it is valid, but with no outside pressure to counter act internal pressure there would be expansion, now the tires strength is what determines whether it blows or not.

As as far as the LV display, it doesn't take much radiation or exposure to make it go bonkers.

ICs are very subsetible to radiation, and so are transistors. The display itself can be affected greatly by temperature specially if it is an LCD display.

But think about it - God says that He created the universe out of nothing.

Really? Are you sure he didn't make it out of darkness since God said let there be light and there was light, and God saw the light. But seeing that the eternal God is invisible light, then of course Christ who is the image of the eternal God, a body of invisible light, who no man has seen nor can see. Christ who is before all things consist, and by him are all things which are were made, that are in the heaven and in the earth, whether visible and invisible.

Science tells us that out of nothing, kaboom there it is.
Well, if science tells you that the universe was created out of nothing then you must not understand the Hypothesis of the Primordial Atom which states that all matter, space, time and energy rapidly expanded to form the known and observed universe from a highly condensed state.

Since matter can neither be created nor destroyed, but only changes form then this universe is eternal which is not so good news for those who hate this world, considering John 15:18-27.

Sounds like the same story to me. Yet many on both sides of the issue will insist that the two sides are exclusionary.

Well said.

It's supposed to do one orbit around the sun and then speed off towards and past Mars. Mars is Musk's ultimate goal, and he's doing the first Martian drive-by. And he's been landing first stage boosters for about a year now with the Falcon 9. That's all his heavy lift rocket is, 3 Falcon 9's strapped together.
REALLY a dumb idea!! especially in the hands of civilian rocket-scientists! What happens if it circles back and becomes a meteorite?? and hit's California?? and hits a Tesla dealership, and triggers that overdue earthquake?? see how things can snowball?

And we know from 70's songs that: "Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids...."

only this forum could turn a Tesla in orbit around the earth into a theology argument!!
