I was sorry to hear of Rev. Billy Grahams passing on the news this morning. He was faithful to run the race, evangelizing the world over. His message was always simple,Jesus saves. Though he will be missed on earth, heaven has gained another saint. He is in a far better place.

I liked him more than his son personally. I am happy I got to see him live once in my life over 10 years ago. One of the few legit pure Christian preachers are gone.

“Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.” -Billy Graham (1918-2018) \:D/

I never did get to see him,I believe my parents did. I appreciated him because I never got the televangelist feel when I heard him preach. Only the Lord knows how many were saved because they heard the message that Graham preached simply and straightforwardly down through the years. The untold miles he traveled to bring the gospel to thousands of lost people. I agree we lost a true man of God.

Actually, my lovely daughter-in-law Melita texted that to me this morning from her office at work. My heart rejoiced for our brother Billy soon as I heard the news he left this earth. Wow ~ in the Glorious Presence of God forever! \:D/

2 Timothy 4:6-9
King James Version(KJV)

6.)For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7.)I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:

8)Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

9.)Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

When I was a new Christian back in 1978, Billy Graham's "Decision Magazine" was one of my first resources for inspiration and hope (other than the Bible of course). He & Dave Wilkerson were the ones God used early on to inspire me to study the Word. :)

I do like how it's dumbed down and strait to the point. Sometimes in my church when guest preachers preach, I hardly understand because it's for adults, but him his style was for that everyone could understand.

Over 215 million people in over 185 countries heard a simple Gospel message. Many people have a place in heaven as result of hearing that message.

I know that the angels in heaven are rejoicing at his home coming. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. May God bless and keep them in His loving arms

Yes,I agree. Sometimes preachers tend to just preach to the saints. Billy knew his audience and he kept it simple. He was an evangelist at heart, and he kept that simple message his whole ministry.God greatly used him.

I went to see Billy Graham when he came to Vancouver in the eighties. (I just looked up when he was here, and the date given was October 14-21, 1984.) I was not a believer in those days. I was entering a stage of profound, prolonged despair in my life following a miscarriage and a still birth. I remember that following his presentation, when he did the "altar call," I felt glued to my seat, wondering what people were doing, and what really happened, when they went down to the front.

Rest in Peace, Billy.

I'm sorry for your loss sister. I have a friend that miscarried three times. I felt so bad for her. She was able eventually to have two girls that are now grown but I remember her going through losing three little ones and how hard it was for her.

Got this in my email this morning and thought you guys would appreciate it too. Billy Graham was even on TV in our Catholic household many years ago and caused us to wonder what he was talking about. We still listened to him because of the way he preached and how he used the Bible.

My father, Billy Graham, went into the presence of the Lord this morning.

The Bible tells us in Revelation 14:13: “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord…that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them” (NKJV).

Many have said that his death ends an era, but he would be the first to say that when God's ambassadors die in Christ, the Lord raises up others, because the preaching of the Gospel will go forward until the end of the age. God's blessing continues as He opens doors for the Gospel around the world.

My siblings and I would appreciate your prayers in the days ahead as we honor a man who served the Lord with his life, loved his family, and was always grateful for God's faithful people who supported him in the work of the ministry in Jesus' Name.

As we lay to rest this very public ambassador, please pray with us that the testimony he leaves behind will touch many lives and point them to salvation in Jesus Christ. My father's journey of faith on earth has ended. He has been reunited with my mother and has stepped into the eternal joy of Heaven in the presence of his Savior, in whom he placed his hope.

If you would like to know more about my father's life, share a memory, or read public visitation details, please visit BillyGraham.org. God bless you, and thank you for your prayers for our family.

The Queen will send her condolences to the family of American evangelist Billy Graham, who has died aged 99.

The preacher met the Queen while visiting the UK during his missionary work, and she awarded him an honorary knighthood in 2001.
A Buckingham Palace spokesman confirmed the Queen will be sending a private message of condolence to Graham’s family, including his son and fellow evangelist Franklin Graham.
The Archbishop of Canterbury said Graham was an example to Christians worldwide and had “few equals”.
Graham, who had the ear of presidents and monarchs and reputedly preached to the most people in live sermons in history, died aged 99 at his home in North Carolina on Wednesday.
He spoke to thousands at arenas in the UK during his tours, often referred to as crusades, in the decades following his first visit in 1946.
