I would, but here's my question: can mechanical automatons make a better burger than human automatons?

Doesnt look like it. Humans needed to make the actual burgers for the robot to flip.

Would you go to a food outlet where robots
did the cooking?
I'm looking forward to it.
Hopefully they replace the waitresses
and their attitudes with robots too.
The way I see it, the two main industries of the future
will be robot repair/maintenance, and tattoo removal.

Edison's first 1,000 light bulb attempts failed too, but he didn't give up. I suspect strongly that there will soon be a robot quick enough to replace a few thousand teenagers and recent immigrants. Someone may even invent a robot sufficiently capable to foul up "custom" coffee orders, misspell everyone's name, and make snarky comments upon delivery.

The robots are probably cleaner and have a better attitude than a lot of the cooks that I know.
Not really, the robots leak their fluid all over the place and in your food too.

Is that any less hygienic than a twenty year old that's ticked off at the world spitting on your burger?

woe unto the person I ever see actually doing that.... I'll end up in jail....

But... that is why I'm always polite to people that work in fast food places.... well, that, plus I'm just a nice guy...
