"Figures show a majority of young adults in 12 countries have no faith, with Czechs least religious.

The survey of 16- to 29-year-olds found the Czech Republic is the least religious country in Europe, with 91% of that age group saying they have no religious affiliation. Between 70% and 80% of young adults in Estonia, Sweden and the Netherlands also categorise themselves as non-religious.

The most religious country is Poland, where 17% of young adults define themselves as non-religious, followed by Lithuania with 25%.

In the UK, only 7% of young adults identify as Anglican, fewer than the 10% who categorise themselves as Catholic. Young Muslims, at 6%, are on the brink of overtaking those who consider themselves part of the country’s established church."

Luckily, nobody expects a "high migration scenario" to last till 2050.

But the western and northern EU must solve it as soon as possible, yes...

I predict they will do something, soon. Unfortunately, it will probably be under the Catholic Church. As communism loosened its grip in Eastern Europe, it left a vacuum. I think the Vatican will take advantage of that. Europe has always had deep historical/cultural ties with the RCC. Keep your eyes open.

Problem with muslim immigration is not in postcommunist countries, but in western and northern Europe, Sweden, France etc...

We will see what will happen. At least, everybody can freely move wherever it will be better.

I truly believe we are in end times. Some say we've been in end times since Jesus ascended, but I believe we are quickly approaching that time when there will be only 144,000 saved individuals left on earth... (see Revelation 7:4)

Or we can be seeing the rise of next persecution, home terror, internal wars, maybe the rise of the last (muslim) Antichrist.

Events in the former Roman Empire are key events for last days, because Bible was about this area, so its prophecies are not about different side of globe.

I always dislike these kinds of newspaper articles, the media always portrays catholic and
Anglican as Christians. Most aren’t at least not in my book. So the surveys are always wrong.

Take me a look at this survey, thankfully it suggests catholic and orthodox
religions are deminishing , whereas Pentecostal, evangelical and charasimatic are
increasing in the Uk.

This seems also to reflect the position in my city.

Im not sure if there are any similar stats for across Europe.

Its one of those occasions where quality is better than quantity.

I agree. I am rather skeptical about any kind of help or awareness from either secular (not counting ultra-right radicals) or so called christian ecumenical mesh mash group. So that leaves RCC to act.

In my country case, our (state) identity goes hand in hand with Christianity, and yes, it is mainly RCC. And although I keep my eyes opened as a protestant, I have to say that it has some benefits.

You wouldn’t find, for example, one mosque in my country (and we have a quite high law bar determined bar for how many Muslims legal citizens must be in the country to a mosque permission) and it is all bcs of huge RCC influence and lobbing

We have cca 5 immigrants of whom 3 are trying to run away … (sorry for exaggeration, just trying to make a point) Now, there is of course a different reason why.. mostly that we are for sure not their economic paradise and sadly our xenophobic mood doesn’t help much either… but maybe there is also something we like to call hard core “Christianity” stubbornness which wont allow any compromise when it comes to faith ..

I remember that it was RCC who stirred up big discussions and massive protests among people years back when our Education department started to implement yoga exercises within PE at elementary schools… And bcs yoga was considered as a part of Hindu religion it was a big deal … after a lot of complains and protests from parents and public they had to stop teaching yoga .. work of RCC

I am aware that my view can stir some in here (and not in a good way) .. in that case just ignore this post pls

Rem, the EU will become a large part of the ten Kings (Kingdoms) as stated in Revelation. I do not see the US as being on of them....

we won't be!!!, we are so in/over in debt - there's no way that we can buy our way out,
thus, we are already are 'owned', 'bought, and will eventually be physically enslaved'...
