i don't blame them who wants to have someone who is active in a war parked next to their soil? Italy could potentially be drawn into conflict/hurt by a retaliatory strike from Syria or Russia...this is a very smart move on the Italians part....no sense in getting involved in a conflict they have no interest in.....
