For that matter, why did this guy's dad just let his son have easy access to his weapons? He's going to suffer guilt by association and neglect.
Good question. Let's bury this guy up to his neck, and throw stones at his head till he answers.

The only solution is to get back to good old fundamental human values. We must teach them the fear of God and certain judgment for every man. What we are seeing here is the result of taking God out of the schools. We took God, the bible and prayer out of the schools so this is the result.

The hearts of the children are darkened and they have no fear of eternal judgment. We need to evangelize the kids and give them hope in eternity.

I don't care if it's sin. Guns kill more people and way faster than knives do. There are different kinds of knives for different purposes. Guns are used for one reason and one reason only: to kill. I'm glad we have a right to bear arms, but I hope you are pretty darned aware of the responsibility you have when you carry one. You could end up accidentally shooting someone who was just reaching for their phone.

So what if criminals are going to avoid the law? Should we not have laws then? Should we just let anarchy erupt?
You are irrational and I suspect indoctrinated by a leftist school system. Carry on and I hope the Lord gives you peace. Cause I can ABSOLUTELY guarantee the government and laws won't.

I just don't accept you being so thoroughly presumptive, ill-informed, and pietistic.
Awesome comeback. It stings.

All I want is a simple honest discussion. How is making fun of people who want that going to change anything? Just makes you look like a jerk.
No, it's apparent you don't. If you did, you wouldn't storm in with such a fiery polemic. You wish conformity to your worldview. Nothing more.

Rather than acquiesce, I'll treat this thread with the appropriate level of ridicule it deserves. I don't expect to win any hearts and minds out of it. And if you think your posts will after that intro, you are oh so mistaken.

Neither more guns nor less guns are the answer. I was born before the Columbine shooting, and I remember having active shooter drills. We were taught about Columbine as soon as we were old enough to understand it.

I disagree with both leftists and conservatives. Both sides are too stubborn in their extreme worldviews to do anything other than scream at each other and dehumanize each other.

Then you should know, killing the bad guy quickly saves lives.

Wouldn't ridicule just reduce you to my level if that's what you think about what I said?

Well, that's about it then. We can wrap this all up.

They can't be blamed for not having values they weren't taught.

I agree, there needs to be some kind of reform. But we also need to remember that Jesus never wanted a theocracy. He said his kingdom is not of this world.
