I don't know if any of you all heard about this one yet? It was on the AOL news sections, thought it'd be an interesting topic for discussion. The Huff. Post has been known to exaggerate and make a mountain out of a mole hill, but I found this article interesting.

David Coppedge, Ex-NASA Worker, Claims In Lawsuit That Agency Axed Him For 'Intelligent Design' Views

I say "maybe" in the title, because we honestly don't know what went on. NASA is saying one thing, while Coppedge says another. We don't know how spot-on the person who wrote this is either. If this IS why he was fired, it's a darn shame for the poor guy- although Jesus did say that by believing in Him, we may encounter some trouble in our lives for His sake, right?

What do you all think?

Well the article says he wasn't just a believer but was actually promoting his intelligent design views within the company and distributing a DVD about it. Can you imagine working with an atheist who was doing that, or a muslim or whatever? We here are sympathetic because he happened to be promoting the concept of God, but in the professional world his behavior was probably against company policy, or caused unwanted distraction to his fellow employees at best.

I'm not against witnessing to fellow employees, just as long as its consentual and not just handing the guy in the next cubicle a dvd with your religious views on it.

NASA claims that he was simply let go because the project he was hired to work on was completed.
