Yes, I sometimes wonder where this world is headed...ok ok I wonder that all the time! :D

Well, if they want to debate whether easter eggs and easter are pagan or not, thats fine with me. I'll just steal all their easter chocolate! :)

Maybe the aggressive parents suddenly flashed back to the day when they themselves were kids, and were too slow to find eggs. So to make up for it, turned into egg-diving maniacs so their children wouldn't have to suffer the same. lol :D

In all seriousness, it's a shame they had to suck all the fun out of the event by being overly competitive.

The kids in that town will have to find some other 'fun' then. It's just a silly old pagan play anyway.

I'm trying to figure out how I missed this in the local news. I live in Colorado Springs. It is a sad thing when parents seem to have to interfere in kid's events to make sure that THEIR kids get the best. It seems that it is becoming more common to see news stories about parents getting into fights at kids sporting events because they didn't like a referee's call, don't think their kid is getting enough play time, etc.

Huh... so the kids are a lot more curteous in egg hunts than adults... Now I'm curious what an adult only egg hunt section would turn into... they'd probably invade the kids area because theres not enough eggs -_-
