I know most people here are having a good rant about their western governments and politicians but at the moment I want to shed light on the situation in Syria. Like Sudan, the media isn't telling us much except for the usual drizzle because frankly they can't get in and report a live story that exciting enough. Or they tell a story thats a bit repetitive and people start to turn a blind eye and shrug their shoulders about it.

Or you may think, thats way over there, it doesn't concern me it doesn't affect my day to day life so why should I care? Its a Muslim country, the muslims should deal with it themselves.

Our church has been giving us weekly updates on the situation there through reports from the UN.
Last week, the govt military were taking unarmed men and boys over the age of 11, rounding them up and shooting them point blank. The military walks into homes and if you're a woman wondering if your husband, brother or father will ever come home and army personal walks into your home, you will be raped and beaten or killed.

Tonight we were told unequivocally that theyre now rounding up children, and deliberately shooting them in the knees and taking them into prisons and being tortured.

Just like our savior Jesus whose parents had to run away to a foreign country from a psychotic dictator bent on destroying precious children, women and children are running for their lives from Syria to the Turkish border. Pray that they meet no barriers, that they do not intercept the Syrian military, and that they safely get into Turkey and receive the aid and basic human rights they deserve.

Pray for the surrounding Arab countries to be hugely convicted by what is going on. We know that the Arab league (Muslim version of the UN) has kicked out the Syrian govt for what they are doing so obviously they know what theyre doing is wrong, but they need to do more than that.

And dare I say it, instead of moaning to Obama about luxuries you're missing out on this year, why aren't the American's moaning to Obama about the blatant murder going on there?? These people don't care about Medicare or Democrat ideals or Republican ideals, they care about not getting murdered and raped and hearing their children have been tortured. And why aren't the British and the rest of the Commonwealth leaders crying out to their PMs to DO SOMETHING!!!

If you can't be stuffed writing an email to your preferred choice of media or news channel to talk more about Syria then at least PLEASE get on your knees and pray for that country.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention I'm sure more people will like to pray for these people under tyranny.

On a side not ..its not just Americans who use CC...and America isn't the only country in the world capable of helping others. There is no need to put the spotlight on us.

Praying against the established govt set up by God is in the spirit of the anti-christ. It is the spirit
of the anti-christ that is causing the uprisings that are getting people killed. For when the
dictators are removed, and a muslim brotherhood is put in place, then a unified league can then
go after Israel. Truth is, anyone who supports the rebels, are being lead by the spirit of the
anti-christ. Even David wouldn't lift a finger to Saul.

I know but taking a look at all the news threads it seems all the topics are to do with American politics

I haven't said anything about supporting the rebels. What concerns me is the govt endorsing disgusting treatment of women and children and blatant murder of civilians in general.

she said please pray that they would be convicted of the wrong that is being done.
How is praying for a people to be spared from these crimes " in the spirit of Antichrist".
Your statement is one of pure unadulterated hate. How about some love of Christ and not basically saying "Good for them getting killed at least they are keeeping the order of things."

If hate is the opposite of love and Antichrist is the opposite of Christ then you sir should reevaluate which one you serve. Your statement is of fathomless ignorance.

The rebels can not win if they do not get backing by a major power or the UN.
The tried and true bait to get that backing is to get a lot of civilians and children killed.
That always gets a knee jerk reaction in people of western mindset. If the Gov't doesn't
kill enough, the rebels will kill them. For the rebels, the more children killed, the better.
It really helps their cause. Those rebels and their uprising is what is getting people killed.

Back during the first gulf war, an industrial building was bombed in Iraq. The Iraqis put out a
sign that said, "Baby Milk Factory." They attempted to bait people into thinking that babies
would go without milk due to that building being bombed. But, at that time, people were still
smart enough to know milk comes from cows and goats.

The average age of a suicide bomber is 21.1 The youngest suicide bomber known was age 12.
These radicals USE kids as pawns, to further their cause. By your own words, you are already
against the Gov't of Syria. The Gov't isn't the one who is getting kids killed. Its the rebels.
The rebels have no hope of winning without the death of many children.

Been praying for quite some time now - Especially as Govt forces have been firing into Turkey & Kofi Anan's peace brokerage looks doomed.

The whole world is sick with evil.

The Rebels are no better than the government, the people are always used by these evil forces.

Let us Pray for the people of Almighty Yahvah God, may they accept Yahshua the Messiah as Saviour.

We must remember that those people are deceived and forced more brutally, the evil force comes in all shapes and sizes, those people are victims.

Do not buy into the media reports, it is all staged.

Libya last year was only accused of threatening to attack their people, and they all started pounding them, that was another staged move...

If the un was really about protecting the people, then they would of intervened last year!!!

They are not consistent with their actions against "tyrants" it is all so corrupt.

Peace and love to those people.

All innocent blood is going to be accounted for.
