Debunked: Obamacare RFID Chip Implant Law Hoax
There’s a hoax going around that the health care reform act HR3200 (The Affordable Care Act, aka “Obamacare”) requires everyone to get a chip implanted in their body.
This has already been quite well debunked over on Snopes:

The bottom line is:
The proposed law did not require anyone to get anything implanted
It just created a national registry of a huge of range of medical devices from pacemakers to dental implants
The intent of the registry was to collect statistics on how safe and effective the devices are
HR3200 is not the bill that passed. That’s HR 3590, which does not have the registry.

The mark is physical, but is also a matter of heart, and mind. The right hand is used often in the bible. It is often a symbol of authority and actions. The forehead is about the mind.
Paul tells us that a physical object is neither good nor evil. It is amoral. A tattoo, currency, microchip etc is not the evil. It is the turning away from the Lord that marks a person. The physical part of it is to show one has spiritually turned away. The evil isn't in the object, but in your soul.
The mark of the beast has to do with your change of heart, and your mind toward evil.
So, before you accuse others of twisting the book of Revelation it may be a good idea to open the book up, and read to make sure someone truly is in error.
The word "mark" comes from the Greek word χἀραγμα - charagma - which means: a scratch, etching or stamp (as a badge of servitude);[SUP]1[/SUP] a stamp that was once used on deeds of sale and similar documents that contained the name and regnal year of the emperor
It doesnt necassarily mean a cut on the skin.
this rfid chip association with the mark spoken of in Revelation has gotten outta hand in the past 15 years. 666 is the number of his name but even that verse has gotten outta hand every president from Reagan to now especially Obama has been called Antichrist.
first off the bible does speak of people worshiping the Antichrist so i believe this mark has more turning away from God & worshiping the Antichrist then just getting a chip for money. I think the mark is more like joining a cult in that day that worships the Antichrist and they get branded by red hot poker or something like that and without that mark you can't buy,sell,etc. cause your not worshiping Antichrist
i don't like the idea of the rfid chip in my hand cause its been theorized the right person can easily create a device that can steal your money from the chip.
i would like to suggest to all my brothers & sisters in Christ not to get super oober indulged in the subject of bible prophecy cause it can distract you from reading into things on how God wants you to act like how to conquer anger, how to be a christian parent or a christian spouse. We have very little time on earth and i can tell you by personal experience it can eat up a lot of your time. i found out all i need to now truly when it comes to end time prophecy is not to fall so easy when someone walks around and claims to be Jesus.

That 666 number thing is not difficult to understand. You're right in saying that it has nothing to do with a phisical marking. Look in 1Kings10:14, it is the first mentioned of that number, therefore, it has authority on the second mentioning of it in Revelation. Remember that Christ had to refuse from Satan all the wealth and luxury of this world. Solomon did not... It represent much more than gold, money or possession but our hope, hope to have our salvation or our thirst being queched in this world. Satan knows that, not only us, but the entire universe is thirsting to be quenched by the Grace of God. Therefore be prepared to suffer and grasp the nature of your thirst before is too late, follow the path of the desert because there is nothing in this world that will quench your thirst, nothing! Nothing but the Holy Spirit that is not from this world will quench you from time to time.
