There seems to be a great wall in the Christian Churches between the singled and married people. A lot of single people I know feel that married people see themselves as somehow superior, that singled are somehow not completely human. And I'm willing to bet that married people have feelings somewhat similar in regards to how the single people view them.

I also know that some of my married friends who are childless also have problems, and that those who children also feel certain stigmas.

And I'm sure it's the same among the divorce and widowed.

What we need to do, as Christians, is begin to breakdown these walls by crossing the border to find the needs and meet them. It seems that the early Christians did just that, saw the needs of others and met them. And when they were not aware of those needs, God brought it to their attention.
------------
So the purpose of this thread is to get rid of the stigmas and let every group have a chance to come together and say, "Hey, these are our needs, and this is how you can help us."

Only then will we, as the Body of Christ, begin to grow.

Can a mod please move this into the Family Forum. I thought I clicked there, only to find out at the last second that it was in the news forum.
