I hear that phrase a lot, and have even used it myself... but let me ask you: awake or asleep to what, exactly?
corrupt politicians? a corrupt government? a police state? the illuminati plot to control the world through a "new world order"? that there is genuine evil out there and that it controls nearly every aspect of life here on earth?
It has been no secret that this world, for the moment, is ruled by Satan. Even the bible acknowledges Satan as the "god of this age". (2 Corinthians 4:4) Of course the governments of the world are going to be corrupt. They are ruled by evil, both directly and indirectly, because they are part of this world.
None of that matters, though.
this "awakening" is nothing but a false revolution to further the exact same new world order agenda previously mentioned, while at the same time allowing people to think they are doing something to help defeat evil.
That is why movies like "zeitgeist" expose things like the Federal Reserve's corruption and 9/11 being an inside job, while also trying to deceive people into believing that Jesus Christ was nothing but a copy of older "gods". it is why these same movies try to further a "one world government" and a "one world religion". They are not waking people up to the truth, they are just selling a different dream.
None of that matters either.
The world is decaying before our eyes, yes. it has been for a long time. And while this earth is currently ruled by Satan, it still BELONGS to God. Nothing that happens will be outside of His plan, and there is only one real truth that you need to be awake to. It has nothing to do with corruption of government, or a police state, or false flag attacks, or a new world order.
The only thing you need to be awake to is the fact that Jesus Christ came to save us from our sins, and no matter what happens, that will never change. So long as you accept His truth, literally nothing that happens on this planet matters.

Something happens in their lives and they SEEK (and are drawn). 9-11 is a perfect example, whatever your position on "who did it" is. That information, the way it is processed is leading Christians in one of 2 directions (3 including complete denial).
They are not waking people up to the truth, they are just selling a different dream.
You are clearly not aware of the numbers coming to Christ through the very unveiling of world events.
Do a poll and ask how many sought out the Bible for answers when their eyes were opened?
Absolutely the world of "conspiracy theories" and disinfo can be a morass - but how is it you don't know there are millions out there right now searching for answers to what is going down? Fortunately there are Christians there to point to scripture.
I'm not attempting to change your mind about anything. But how many places are we warned about deception?
Deception Jesus said eventually would be so severe, only His keeping would prevent the saints from being deceived. This is serious enough to not shut down the reality that people are waking up due to world events. Regardless of what you have posted above, they are searching for answers. Hopefully we are there, not ridiculing them and denying what they're seeing or saying (whether we believe it or not).
ALL of what's happening is connected. Obviously. As Christians we know we are safe in Christ - but the lost who are searching DO NOT.
A simple example: concerning the coming the "totalitarianism"; "papers please" issue is not because I fear we will be persecuted (we will - anyone not simply accepting this as likely should they live long enough is foolish)....no, my fear is through
deception and the
counterfeit system in place we will be deceived into being the persecutors. Not the prisoners, but the guards! It's already happening that people who claim the Name of Christ have become killers because they have been thoroughly deceived by an astonishing false gospel. This was accomplished through a dreadful conspiracy which gave us a thoroughly corrupt facsimile of Christianity.

Because of ridicule and an apparent conditioned response to reject the notion we might be believing falsely, the information the author of post 55 provides is offered faithfully again and again I noticed, yet barely even noticed.not comprehended. If it is, it appears to be unmentionable.
