Luckily that is only going on in the U.S. and not here in Canada. For security up here we continue to use still-photo polaroids for cameras (but waiting for the photo to develop in our hands while we hold it is a real hassle, especially during a robbery), and for a telephone we use the original prototype that Alexander Graham Bell invented and we share it between all ten provinces (that causes a lot of problems at Christmas time though!!!).

middle of the night.,,,,in a high profile investigation they can retrieve information from either gov.sattelites or private satellites (i.e.Google earth etc.) and view the past recordings of a given area they are saved to the hard drive,,, so for instance if they need to see what happened(every car or person who walked down the road in front of you house (this day last year) they simply find it on the drive and watch it,,,,,,in the 70's a friend of mine's son was a radio/surveillance officer navy,,,,,he was in the pacific ocean and sent his parents a photograph of the cars parked in their driveway. ,,unless you remove the battery and the sim card from your phone it still pings the towers you pass (it tracks the phone for service) so they would know what road you drove down and where you went,,,,,,by your phone records(weather you made a call or not or if your phone was off or on)it is in "conserve power mode",,so you wont loose stored data,,contacts,settings ect.,so even with the battery out it in effect,is still on untill the capasitors consume the power (charged while the battery was in it),,,,to a point where it looses it's memory,,,,,,,but even then it can be rebooted (always destroy your old phones) never sell them to anyone,,,if your hard drive goes bad on your computer take it apart pull out the cd's in it and beat them with a hammer,,,,,,,if someone gets a hold of it and is crafty they will take the pc board off the same brand/model drive and fire it back up,,,or if internal motors are out in a (sealed environment/dust free),,,they can still take two drives apart and put your cd's into the working hard drive,reseal it install it into a computer and have fixed your hard drive with all photos,pass words,family info etc. intact,,,,,,,they will use backdoor p/words to access your drive content,"beat them with a hammer before you toss them out",,,,when i was young i always liked planes so if i hear one "i look up",,,if i hear a r.c plane i get excited and look for it,,,,ultralights sound different from others,,,,,,,,,,since about 10 years ago me and my sons have spotted four,(drones),,,one was all black,no front windshield/cockpit,,about seven feet long,,similar to a helicopter ( that is if you hear it and look up,you'll just think it's a helicopter flying over) most are,,but you'll eventually see one that looks like it's 3000 feet up but if you look close youll figure out it's only about 400 to 500 feet above you ,,,it's muffler expands at the end,,and just like the tailpipe tips you get to make the trucks sound loud it changes the engine sound to sound like a real helicopter from a greater distance (notice their attempt to make you believe it's something it is not) the other is almost the same as this one but is about 15 feet long they are all black also with a thin red stripe down the tail and no cock pit,,,(the nose of both i described are solid black) and they both look just like a distant helicopter,the other is harder to see,,,,,,it was (flat color not shiny,light blue,white and silver grey?) hard to see get binoculars,,,,,,it was about 6-600 feet up shaped like a "stingray without a tail",,it has four propellers on top 1,2,3,4 in a square,,,you'd think i thought i saw ufo's lol,,,,,,,,,but naah!,after i saw them i search for info about them,,,,there are about 30,000 applicants in the u.s. different agencies who are seeking to receive funding for them police dept.s ect. and they are also sold to companies to survey pipelines ect.,,,it's like playing a video game (man sits in booth put's on v.r.helmet,,,and fly's drone,,,,,,,,,,there will come a day and pilots will go back to the base and go to the officers club and tell the stories about "the dog fight,they had this morning with the fighter that does not pass out from g-force,,,,,,,about the fact that he was fearless in battle,,,,,,,,as though he was not afraid to die,,at times flying at them as though they were going to crash into them,,and so small they could not acquire a target to shoot at,,vicious little things,,that you cannot see till they shoot past you and then you see them not again,,till there back,,things to small for radar to track or see",,,there will come a time and a child who was home schooled who has millions of hours on a video game and computer will out preform the others who got on the bus and spent 8 hours in school class and 2 hours of homework,,,,,,,,,then "you can play video's for and hour"times 12 years,,,,,,has less experience at the "thing that is needed in that day",,,they will fly the fighters that are disposable,,,as disposable as the bullets they shoot,,why make them so complex they are valuable?,,,,why let anyone see the technology? make them self destruct then get up and go eat a snack,,,,,,you save half the fuel and have no maintenance,,,,then there is no need for a large military,,,,,,,no jeeps ,no buses, no unaforms,,,no food bill for the pilots,no mail man to send them letters,no court marshals,,,,no tooth brushes,,,no razors,,,,no hair cuts,,,,,,no Dr. bills,,,no retirement,,no p.o.w.'s,,,no rescue missions,,,,,,you don't so much as have to pay them,,,,,,,,,,,only the one pilot sitting in the little booth somewhere,,,,,let one fly it for a while till they almost triangulate to him,,,,,then it's break time,,,,and the other takes over a couple of hundred miles Who are these home schooled children you describe? Most of the homeschoolers I know don't even let their kiddos watch television, let alone spend 14 hours a day playing video games.
Granted, things have changed since my kiddos were little and my fellow homeschool moms used to call me for news info, since we were the only ones in our group who had a TV (judiciously used). But most Christian homeschooled kids still know how to play outside.
You make it sound like government schools are preferable to educating one's children at home, since if they're home they will undoubtedly have zero education and tons of experience with violent video games. (just a note- I have no problem with video games per se)

But I think you should be careful whom you level accusations at, because there's bound to be some crazy homeschool mom who will step in to defend her extremely hard working, diligent fellow homeschool parents.
