I'm fine with not having an American flag on display.

So far, moment of faith, you have not bothered to explain just who made up that Obama flag, my guess is that it was not Obama or even his campaign. Of course If I have to find out myself you wont get any credit for being honest.

have you never heard of artistic license? I mean its an interpretive piece of art. Its not like he is trying to actually change the flag. So you're just being ridiculous.

i think youve detrimentally confused patriotism with christianity...they are completely separate ideals. And you still clearly have no idea about artistic license.

Wait a minute,,is this thread about the Obama flag or the guy that was asked not to display the American flag? To anyone who happens to be offended by the American flag, I think i have about $8:00 in my pocket. I gladly send it to you to put towards a plane ticket out of this country.

to me a flag is just a flag. Every country has one. It literally is nothing more than a piece of cloth given symbolic meaning. The meanings behind it still exist regardless of whether or not the flag is visible. To me using a flag to show patriotism is the same as using a bible to show your faith. If people cant see it in your actions and life, using a symbol to show it is pointless, because you obviously aren't living it.

So... I think you're a troll who comes on here to offend and make others mad. I'm reporting you to the mods, hopefully getting you removed.

quaker -- that's the American way -- or at least the new American way of OWS and liberal left wing leaners.

See because we are at a standstill. I believe you / and others to be the problem. I believe yall to be the troll, but I welcome you with open arms to have your say, but you want to shut me down.

If no flag bothers him I guess it wouldn’t bother him to have the black muslim flag flying over our capital.

That wasn't even close to what i said, if you rely on flying a flag to prove your patriotic maybe you should try living it instead so people can just look at you and tell. Same thing with living as a christian, not just carrying a bible to show it. your lack of understanding concepts is appalling.

That makes no sense because we are a democracy not a theocracy and besides unless youre also going to fly the flags of all the other religions in the US, that just makes you a bigot.

EXACTLY! Living as a Christian isn't carrying a Bible around and preaching. It's living the way that Christ would approve of. Loving, caring for others, not being a judgmental hateful person like I've seen all over this site.

And, that's very true about the US. We are NOT a theocracy. In Christ's kingdom, that would be a great flag. But we are the United States, not the Christian States. Whether you like it or not, there are other faiths and in America we have freedom of religion. If you want to be Buddhist or Muslim or Hindu or Wiccan, that's fine here. Because we are the land of the Free, not the land of onlyChristianscancomehere.

The problem here is you want to judge me because I don't fit in your little category of what YOU BELIEVE A CHRISTIAN SHOULD BE LIKE. To the point you want to have me removed. LOL ..
Naut -- So again fly the Muslims Black Flag. The CRAZY LEFT WING LIBERALS WOULD LOVE YOU FOR IT .. AS you say we must represent all religions .. LOL

But this is the main problem. You do have freedom of religion, you can worship any god you want, but here in America the majority worship Jesus. So by our government representing that religion is not wrong. It's our culture our belief.
