The governor of California has opted to veto a bill that would have allowed judges to state that a child can have more than two parents.

Governor Jerry Brown vetoed SB 1476, issuing a statement on Sunday that while he sympathizes with the bill's intentions, he is concerned about unintended consequences of the legislation.

"I am troubled by the fact that some family law specialists believe the bill's ambiguities may have unintended consequences," wrote Brown. "I am returning Senate Bill 1476 without my signature … I would like to take more time to consider all of the implications of this change."

Ron Prentice, CEO for the California Family Council, told The Christian Post that his organization was one of many that had called on California citizens to contact the legislature and the governor to oppose the bill.

If I was a judge however I would not allow a child to be raised by parents of the same sex. They don’t win my respect. And there is one biological parent missing in all of this anyways Just because times and laws have changed does not mean I am changing with them. Just because things have gotten much worse on TV does not mean I need to copy them. But these judges are now stuck to allow same sex couples to be the parents of one child or more. I was born in 71. I’ve seen gay people and have had even a few gay friends. But back then there were no family unit only gay couples. I did not hang out with them. I just knew them in places like where I worked or at the Gym which is where I used to go to that was near a Gay area. No harm talking to them. But I don’t approve of these family units. I call this perversity because this was not God’s plan and design for mankind. And God is clear in the Bible where He stands on this issue. God has never ever in the Bible has given a green light to same sex. This 3 parent deal is a 3 ring circus all created because it became legal for same sex unions and marriage. Wonder how these kids will turn out? Marilyn Mansion the rock musician grew up with perversity in his house. Look what has he become of today a role model for this generation. I feel really bad for these kids that have been raised by gay or lesbian couples having to say my 2 mothers are at home.

[FONT=&quot]I‘m glad to say Jerry Brown did not sign this bill. They wanted this bill to go through without much thinking put into this kind of law. For one thing this can create all kinds of lawsuits to who want to have custody of these children. It is hard enough that 2 parents are fighting over custody. Add one more person that wants this child.[/FONT]

Lol, this really has nothing to do with Homosexual couples at all. Most kids with gay parents are actually adopted or done through surrogacy. So their isnt an issue of more than two parents.
Is this a new Moment of Faith account, seems like the news he would post.
