He needed to be when faced with the lies of Paul Ryan, to quote Romney "No Apologies."

Im not thrilled about either choice either, Jimmy. I'm looking forward to the end of this campaign season.

I listened to the debate on the radio. In general I have pretty conservative values, but I was kind of impressed that Biden didn't say anything too off color.

They were both really rude =\ I would have thought they'd be more respectful. Because honestly, respect is key! And if I were able to vote, I wouldn't know who to vote for since both were kinda rude to each other! But I gotta agree, Joe Biden was the worst offender at it.

but honestly they were BOTH tripping over each other at times to make a point. Just absolutely AWFUL.

I hope the Presidential debate wasn't this bad.

I'm very conservative. Especially on moral issues. Obama/Biden most certainly are not an option if one wants government to the glory of God.. Romney/Ryan isn't a ticket that is much better.

I wish the R/R ticket was switched around. Getting Romney off the ticket entirely would be better.

So Jimmy I guess that your Christian values tell you that the rich are to get richer and the poor can just figure it out for themselves. After the undeserved grace bestowed upon you by our Lord and savior you would expect anyone not so blessed must earn their salvation? Do you believe that the poor are poor simply because they somehow deserve their poverty while you deserve your wealth? Such is the conservative philosophy.

Anyway Biden crushed Ryan in the debate. Ryan left in dust wondering what hit him?

Biden was rude and disrespectful and arrogant. Ryan wasn't as bad but still had his faults.

The whole debate was a joke. Neither of them won, because I doubt they won the respect of the people. When you respect your opponent and gain the people's respect, THAT is when you truly win. And neither of them did that.

Actually polls by CBS from after the debate show that 50% of the general population thinks that Biden won versus 39% for Ryan. Also sometimes you have to be direct and harsh to get your point across to conservatards like ryan.

Well, that's an easy way to paint those you hate. Maybe next time you could ask "why?"...

I'll respond with more later, but for now I need to go get my absentee ballot signed. :)

We don't need to be throwing the term tard around. Thanks.

I missed the window of opportunity to edit my post but I also wanted to add that tard is an ugly immature term. As Christians, we're called to love even those whom with which we disagree.

I imagine what's truly difficult is loving people who spit in your face and nail you to a cross, and thankfully we have a Savior who provided an example for us to draw on when we face our enemies.

There's no need to resort to saying nasty things or employing cheap name calling tactics to emphasize what we're saying.

I won't derail this thread any further by harping on it.

I'm sorry for what I said, and I'm trying to find someone to remove my post.
