Personal Information:

His full Name is: Willard Mitt Romney

He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.

His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan

He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan

He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.

Education:
B.A. from Brigham Young University,

J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Religion:
Mormon - The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background:

After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon
missionary.
After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law
School
simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but never
worked as an
attorney.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment
firm,
one of the largest such firms in the United States .

In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts
where he
eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in
Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores
employing
90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business
miracles
again and again, with companies like Domino's, Sealy,
Brookstone,
Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama,
Home Depot
Supply, and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad's
gubernatorial
campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad's governor's office for eight
years.
He was an unpaid bishop and stake president of his church for
ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee
for three
years.

He took no salary and was the unpaid Governor of Massachusetts
for four
years.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our
country but
has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service
and time
than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost
19% of
his income.... Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and
Joe Biden
gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

He will show us his birth certificate

He will show us his high school and college transcripts.

He will show us his social security card.

He will show us his law degree.

He will show us his draft notice.

He will show us his medical records.

He will show us his income tax records.

He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney's background, experience and trustworthiness show
him to be
a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the
United
States.

You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the
Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion
he is,
and that he won't desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers
or
practice fiscal irresponsibility. I know he has the ability to
turn this
financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into.

We won't like all the things necessary to recover from this
debt, but
someone with Romney's background can do it. But, on the minus
side, He
never was a "Community Organizer", never took drugs or smoked
pot, never
got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor
did he
attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the US.

IN GOD WE MUST TRUST

I wish that Mitt Romney would accept Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord and allow him to guide his steps.

Well as a Mormon he would probably say that but mean an entirely different thing.

Now for the other side of Romney. Romney's father was a liberal republican and growing up Mitt took on his father's liberalism clear through his time as governor. Can you imagine the Mitt we see now as the governor of one of the most liberal states in the country? Along with some experts in the health care business came up with the same identical health care program for Massachusetts as Obama chose for the whole US, 98% of the children in that state are covered by this insurance the consultants who inspired Romney were hired by Obama and developed an identical system, for the country except now Romney claims that it is not good for the whole country without any reasonable explanation.

As a liberal governor he spoke out in support of gay rights, women's choice in abortion and contraception. These principles came to him from his father's ideology. While he worked for the Olympics he built a house in Utah and claimed residence there causing him problems when he claimed that he was a resident of Massachusetts at the very same time. You see, he needed to prove to the Mass., election board that he was at least a 7 year resident and that time in Utah would prevent him from qualifying if in fact he claimed residence (which he did) so he retroactively changed his tax status so that he could run for governor in Mass. Some people call that lying others just call it Etch a Sketch. During his election for governor he claimed on his tax forms that he was not working at Bain Capitol, that he never even attended a meeting yet he was still on their incorporation papers as their CEO, and he did in fact attend meetings for the board of directors as part of his duties at Bain during that time. (Another lie)

Since leaving the Mass., governorship he has held and changed positions on just about every possible political issue there is, sometimes changing over a few years and sometimes overnight. Almost everyone of the the positions he holds now come to us since the last two years, they are not long held positions coming from his religion or his family but simply political expediency. The fact is that Romney as a business man simply left politics aside and held no positions on it until he chose to run for elected office. Facts are during this campaign the policies he talks about are more a reflection of the audience instead of his own, his campaign staff has needed to correct him innumerable times after he gets off of his written material and begins to speak off the cuff.

There is no doubt in my mind that Mitt Romney is a good God fearing man but as a president he would simply not be the slightest good. Note the Romney campaign will refer to Obama as a foreigner, a socialist, a "stranger." Romney's political friends are some if the worst offenders from the Bush administration, people who started needless wars and whose foreign policy comes to us from the COLD WAR. As Grover Norquist mentioned as long as Romney has a hand that can write his signature on the bills the republicans pass it will satisfy the republicans, America deserves a better president than that.

If we are talking about Mitt Romney's values yes Jesus he believes in. The religion itself though believes they can become their own God's , that Satan is Jesus's brother. And thy believe that the blood of Jesus Christ didn't atone all our sins. Thats why the book of mormon came along to finish what he started. Well, I have news he is in a cult. What if a a Jehovah Witness ran for President, who have their own teachings other than the true word. By changing it's wording that Jesus didn't die on a cross but on a stake. The muslims believe in Jesus but unlike the mormons they believe Jesus was just a prophet but they know of him too.

Do the mormons accept Jesus as their lord and savior they say yes. But after that they will say yes it is true though that we believe that Jesus isn't the only way our sins are atoned. Thats why ANOTHER BOOK had to be written to complete God's requirements for eternal life. Please do your research. They really believe that in order to have eternal life like the jews you must attain it or s the new agers say attain God status. So they make the atonement and blood of Jesus meaningless and or void.. They really don't have Jesus Christ... The bible says the law produces death. They are not true believing christains. I have asked about their beliefs personally and have studied them. They have denied the true faith by saying Jesus Christ's blood DIDN'T FULLY ATONE FOR OUR SINS AND THAT ANOTHER REVELATION HAD TO BE GIVEN BY PROPHET JOSEPH SMITH TO COMPLETE JESUS CHRIST'S WORK. And this new work the ycal the book of MORMON is a blasphemy. Stating that Jesus's brother is Satan. And a whole other fairytale based off of a work that was taken from a similair story to make it into a fake book of inspired so called scripture. They also believe that unless the husband not Christ calls the wife out from the grave she will not be resurrected.

It is preposterous and not true. They claim that Jesus came to North America and preached to the people here. That there was a second Ark and it took Caucasians here to North America and these people set up a civilization here that simply disappeared with no evidence after thousands of years. They claim that Joseph Smith dug up a "golden book" and was given some stones that helped him translate it. That golden book was written in some near Eastern languages and again without any evidence this book was the source for the foregoing history. The book does not exist today cannot be examined and confirmed and could not be examined even right after the translation due to it disappearing.

Unlike the Bible which was not a single book like the book of Mormon but a collection of scrolls written by 39 different authors over 2500 years, the Bible takes no prophetic ability to see, read and translate.

Mormonism is not Christianity and Christianity is not Mormonism they are two separate systems of thought and while the Mormons try and claim a status as Christians by using many of the same terms and claiming the name of Jesus, it is not the same Jesus, and has a different message entirely. Do not fall into their trap.

I feel in my spirit, the Lord telling me, "be still and know that I am God!" But I must say I enjoyed reading things like this. May I agree or disagree. I really wish I could be more like Jesus, in knowing what it is in a person's heart. But the Lord did say, out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. But often enough we do realize that our actions speaks louder than our words. It was only God who could speak thing into existence! It is only God who is true to his word! It is only God who means what he says and says what he means. I don't care if you're Romney or Obama. As the Bible clearly tells us man judges by the outer appearance and only God knows the true nature of a man's heart.

Thank you Biggie for your words of wisdom (My Brother in Christ). I was going to reply in anger until I read your post, reminding me whom it is I serve and who is in control. Who ever wins this election, I pray that there is peace remembering God is in control of all things. We need to recognize our blessings and be thankful for them. When we find ourselves for opposing teams, we need to be reminded we have the same Father in Christ and not let the "evil one" divide us. Dividing the Body allows the evil one to win.

Pray for our enemies and Love our neighbors.

I've observed. Just because they say they are, doesn't mean they are.

Plus, his party is trying to take God OUT of the equation. Sound very Christian to you?

And he's done nothing to defend the right to say the word God in the Democratic party.

Did you even watch the debate? Biden made a good point when asked about abortion. He said he agrees with the tenets of his church that life begins at conception and I think he said he personally does not like abortion, but he refuses to froce his religious on an entire nation. More christians should be like that instead of forcing an entire nation of various beliefs and ideals to follow ours. Is abortion wrong to you? cool if it is, if it isn't also cool. Im not going to force other people to live their life by my worldview. Besides you seem to be forgetting this is politics not church. Its highly irrelevant to me if politicians follow God or not. Im not looking at them for spiritual guidance. The only parties that should mention God are the ones that only want to attract christians and dont care about the myriad of faiths in this country. ALso in my mind those same parties never deserve to win if they only support one group.

well I been observing also just because many people call themselves Christians doesn't necessarily mean they are.
Our government has been taking God out of the equation even before you were born. So it's been going on way before Obama has gotten into office. Very good observation. But it's nothing new.

what I have found he did fix the defect in Massachusetts. He did this by cutting some State benefits to cities, Then the cities increased property tax to make up the for the loss of income. So it looks like he can do what he is saying, but there will be a cost to everyone. Hard times call for hard decisions. He walks a fine line on abortion it is hard to say where he stands on the issue.
