I disagree. I don't believe God is Republican or Democrat. I believe He would side with issues on both sides, and be ashamed of some issues on both sides.

God at the top of the "food chain" what are they referring to there a restaurant? America is not a restaurant there is no "food chain" and maybe that is the problem the author sees the whole world through a lens that cannot support any other view. A food chain is a list of larger and larger animals that eat the lesser ones on the chain. We are talking about humans aren't we?

God tells us that the greater should be the servant of the lesser the more powerful responsible for the less powerful and that is certainly NOT the way a food chain works. This whole food chain idea comes entirely from the gates of hell, because that is exactly the way Satan would describe the way things should be (read The Screwtape letters.)

IF this author can in fact remove the food chain from my mind and give us some real Christian attitudes then he might just be worth reading more of but not the way he begins this little essay. A so called "free market" is the opposite of what God would have us live like and the idea that we can tolerate such an idea by regulating it wastes so much energy.

Celeste Can you please explain to me what "Free Market" means to you.

I think people dont understand what "Free Market" means. hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Futhermore, regulations are placed when the system is abused. So blame those who take advantage of what ever is being regulated. Goverment helps comes with regulations of the goverment . Bigger goverment is NOT Gods will at all.
