The world must get back to acknowledging the One True God. In country after country we read of leaders murdering whole races of people. In Germany, China, Rwanda, Russia, Nigeria, and Samaria millions have been murdered and tortured since 1945.

I was reading about the lifestyle of Nancy Lanza, mother of the murderer of children in Connecticut. It spoke of her Sunday’s spent in a bar, and of her interest in guns. It spoke of her need to cope with severe mental illness of her son. Another article pointed out that there are many mothers in America trying to cope with this illness in their children. We all need God to help us cope.

Have you read the history we are given of the time of the Kings, from King Saul until the last king was taken prisoner in Babylon? Along with this history we are given God’s part in it through the prophets God sent. It is amazing how politics has not changed. And people have not changed. We have running water, airplanes, corporations, and multimedia now, but all the basics such family or the need for well being are the same. Our God remains the same, with the same principles except they had Christ as a shadow. Atonement was by sacrifice, now atonement is by Christ’s actual blood sacrifice of Christ, not a shadow. We have much to learn about our world today by reading how it operated in the time of the Kings.

Few people related political troubles to their lack of living as God’s children then. Few people do, today. They have political discussions that do not include God at all. Our bible points out that it was God in control in the era of the Kings. I believe we are to read this history and see the God principles there that are as true today as they were then. God is still in control. We are also to see what God requires of us to manage our government and why things go wrong.

You are right, but it's too late. See Obama's speech where he said, "We are no longer a Christian nation." Then he opened a Bible & made fun of applying OT activities to the DEPT of DEFENSE!! He made another speech,it's also online, where he said "To accuse me of being a Muslim, is an insult to Muslims, we should know better than to insult another's religion".He said he's Christian tho. lol.
Then he locked up the 1st Christian for making a movie that said Muslims were full of hate, & insulted the religion. (The Egyptian Coptic Christian he blamed for causing the Egyptian Muslims to kill the ambassador, when they really did it to celebrate their bombing us on 9/11) . Oh Obama made a speech about this man being sent to jail for a year & bragged about it a few days later. He said the man had violated his probation for using a false name. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, I don't know. But it's too late, society sees Christians as stupid & controlling. No one objected to this man being imprisoned. He had a trailer of a movie on you tube that no one saw, especially people with no computers or internet.

Why should we trust God? We all know democracy is superior. After all, we all vote on what church to attend, that proves it right there. God is whoever we choose Him to be. Until the churches stop fighting, there is no witness to call the world back.

Matthew 4:8-9

King James Version (KJV)

8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Hint?

when the churches stop fighting we will know the end is nigh.

1 Thessalonians 5

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. 7For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. 8But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. 9For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, 10Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. 11Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
12And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 14Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16Rejoice evermore. 17Pray without ceasing. 18In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19Quench not the Spirit. 20Despise not prophesyings. 21Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22Abstain from all appearance of evil.

23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

25Brethren, pray for us.

26Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. 27I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.

28The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen

'Peace and safety' is being said now.
'Peace and safety', 'peace and safety', then sudden destruction comes as travail upon a woman with child.
The whole outright foil of the beast system is promising length of days and comfort.
That's the whole rigamaroll.
The incorporated churches will be as divided as ever,....as they are now.
The body of Christ will be the only one ready,(expectant).

The end time religion is not Christianity. We need to TRY to maintain our governments to represent our standards, but it is too late, we have lost the fight. I still TRY. I am not giving up. I am not in darkness. That day will not overtake me as a thief in the night, for I remain sober, & am "watching", & praying.

I reject denominationalism entirely... yet cannot find any edification, instruction, encouragement or unity in this comment.

It would not be the organized church that would call the world back, but God as He tells us of Himself in scripture. It is the individuals who love the Lord who are the witnesses.

They had denominations and ism when Christ lived with us. Christ didn’t look at the denominational differences except when they obeyed man rules instead of God’s.

You're right, Barlygurl. I was not trying to be edifying, unifying, or encouraging. I was just pointing out the facts. Did you notice LoveMe1's comment, that churches will not stop fighting until the end? Does that not imply there is no solution to the problem of Christianity transforming the government, as Jesus will take care of it by setting up His reign before we are ever ready. So many of us believe churches are supposed to fight, like RickShaefer implies. Red Tent is quite correct, it's individuals who love the Lord are all that CAN make a difference. But so many individuals who say they love the Lord are organizing churches and leading the fights. We can't even begin to unify, edify or encourage, until we change our idea of what church is. Rick, does your comment mean to suggest that the Body is different from those who support the churches? If that is true, then the ones who can help appear to be a minority so comparatively small, that it is unlikely we will be noticed by the governments.

That makes the solution to problem of the OP is to expand the influence of the Body to where it replaces the organized church as the government's definition of Christianity. I agree with this as the solution, and offer also that America, and the copies of its democratic ideals, is the first civilization ever on earth, not to have a religious co-leader in its government, whether one looks at the traditional Anglican, Catholic, Lutheran, etc. churches of European countries, the pagan priests and soothsayers of Egypt and Rome, the philosophers of Greece, or the shamans of primitive tribes.

Ideas that are missing the mark in the churches cannot be changed by the greatest of principles of spiritual knowledge we have without the Holy Spirit being poured out in us and upon us to cause the changes the cleansing of demonic profligacies upon the churches and our flesh. Resulting in the casting out of all fears that abide these are that cause divisions and every evil in our flesh and through our flesh, the cry of the work of the Holy Spirit from our spirit for the promise to cleanse us making a glorious fitted body of Jesus working His omnipotent Agape is what will be revealed to the world this work is worthy of Harpazo. Come Lord Jesus. Toleration of flesh and powerlessness the continuing of the dominance of Satan, when shall we hate it and our quotidian lives?

The world will come to believe that religion is the problem and that they should all unite for common good.

The obstacle to these people are those that are not willing to unite with man made peace.

Those of us that Love Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah are not deceived by the evil Rebellion's agenda.

We know it is better to suffer and lose our mortal life than join the evil agenda.

You see many people do not take the Bible serious.

Sure they appear godly and good but anything not of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah is evil.

It is not that the governments need to be informed of God's principles and will follow them it is that they are against His authority and serve the god of this world who offers kingdoms and high positions and material gains in return for worship.

Even this some reject despite the Bible showing us how Yahshua the Messiah was tempted.

There is no peace in Rebellion to Yahvah God.

These people believe they can become gods they believe the deception.

Some people at this time of year do not celebrate the Messiah's birth but partake in their evil worship and believe Eve did good in disobeying God and "eating the fruit" they believe satan is helping them.

The tree for some is a symbol of this part of the Bible.

That is why apples and such are placed on it.

I'm not saying that everyone who puts up a tree is of this accord, but it represents this for some people of this world.
