Millions of Locusts - Swarm Invasion Hits Israel Across Egypt Border

these Locust swarmed Egypt ( 2013 ) causing a bit of agricultural damage this past week (John Kerry was there during that or recently & Gave $250 Million to Egypt). The Locust made it into the southern parts of Israel I think. And Passover is soon: ( do you have your shot of wine and unleavened bread on hand ? )

With things like the meteor that hit that part of Russia , the earthquakes the world is having recently and in the past years. It makes me think a lot about what the Bible teaches .There are some videos from Egypt that show a lot of locust.

This is significant for me because its almost Passover. Locust is one of the plagues God sent Egypt.
The swarm was estimated to be made up of 30million that hit recently . Not to mention the meteor strike that hit Russia and the massive volcanic and earthquake activity recently and in the few past years . ( Japan, Christ church, etc. etc etc )

These are the signs of the times, that Christ warned Christians about in Mark 13: etc.

Wars and rumors of wars surrounding Jerusalem ? I'm paying attention to all of this.

passover is near harvest time...so this is when there is the most food to feed a moving locust swarm...

I guess your not getting what I just said. nvm. Whatever happened in Egypt people on the streets say they never saw such a thing happen in their life time. Either way. I'm a watchmen .I watch.

The last one they had was in 1989. Locusts come around every so often just like they do in America. The New England areas are expected to see them soon.

They also always show up in early Spring.

Locust swarms are huge in Australia and they happen every few years. I don't think it's a sign of the times. At least not until they have scorpion stingers and the heads of women and start to curse God's people. ;P

When was the last time this happened in recent history? If this happens every few years, why is such a big media story right now?

Do you think the section of Revelation prophecy you are alluding to here could refer to autonomous drones (flying war machines) rather than something demonic or animal?

I have a feeling that a flaming mountain can be tossed into the air; and fall right on top of some Christians;( sMash ! ) and they will not be aware of that, or of Christ warnings that we are in the last days Christ described in Mark 13. . That's not a good thing.

Theophane, honestly I don't know but I doubt it. Revelation is God's Truth but much of it is symbolic in the way the prophecies are presented. I guess I've always seen it as just illustrating that demons will try to wreck havoc with God's people because they know that their time is drawing to a close.

Yet some Christians are aware that Revelation is not a horror story. While some sit and worry a d fear about bugs, wars, and microchips others grow in faith. Study scripture and do not fear the future because we know evil doesn't win.

What will happen will happen. If prophecy is happening you cannot prevent it. If it isn't happening then I'd hate to answer to God when I die about installing false fear in others.

actually it is you who seems to be missing my point...

ordinary natural events happening at their most naturally likely times cannot reasonably be taken as signs of the end...

I actively look at the news and definitely see the signs of Christ returning. It's a joy not a dread for the believer. If we suffer through persecution then Jesus be glorified. If Jesus returns in a 1k years from now then I will praise Him before I sleep and after I am resurrected at His call. 1 day is a thousand to the Lord and a thousand as 1 day. I dare not scoff at the thought of Lords return whether it is soon or far. But I'm eagerly anticipating it. Expectantly! :)
