Statement of Concern about the Reliability, Validity, and Safety of DSM-5

Statement of Concern — Stop the Insanity < click

news report:

Petition against DSM-5 is launched in Britain | BPS < click

this is a must-read (DSM-5) for anyone in the field, or involved in, or effected by this system.

they plan to eventually label all as mentally ill. it's all over their own writings.
this is what the Soviet Union did.

GPs were not involved in the development of this newest manual, though they are the primary 'mental-health' providers

..............................

Psychiatrist's Quotes

The actual aims and results of psychiatric and pharmaceutical-promoted forced "mental health" testing and the resulting "necessary treatments" may become more apparent when you examine the statements of the leaders, founders, and theorists of psychiatry and psychology.

ie:

"If we are to infiltrate the professional and social activities of other people I think we must imitate the Totalitarians and organize some kind of fifth column activity. If better ideas on mental health are to progress and spread we, as the salesmen, must lose our identity ... Let us all, therefore, very secretly be 'fifth columnists'."
Dr. John Rawlings Rees, psychiatrist "Strategic Planning for Mental Health", Mental Health, v.1 no.4, p. 103-6

REVEALING QUOTES ON THE GOALS OF PSYCHIATRY AND PSYCHOLOGY < click

“There will be, in the next generation or so, a pharmacological method of making people love their servitude, and producing dictatorship without tears, so to speak, producing a kind of painless concentration camp for entire societies, so that people will in fact have their liberties taken away from them, but will rather enjoy it, because they will be distracted from any desire to rebel by propaganda or brainwashing, or brainwashing enhanced by pharmacological methods. And this seems to be the final revolution

I (almost) couldn't believe it last year when I read in a medical journal that they planned to make shyness part of the DSM.

Shyness is now a mental disorder?!?

I better warn my 'crazy' husband and two 'crazy' daughters.

"Every child in America entering school at the age of five is insane because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It’s up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well – by creating the international child of the future"
Dr. Chester M. Pierce, Psychiatrist, address to the Childhood International Education Seminar, 1973

HMM I think he's got it backwards. I am beginning to think the Psychiatrists are the insane ones perhaps. (The inmates are running the asylum)

Dr. Pierce held the rank of Commander in the US Navy and has been senior consultant to the Surgeon General of the US Air Force, the Children's Television Network (Sesame Street, Electric Company), the US Arctic Research Commission, the Peace Corps, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. His professional service has included chairing committees for the National Institute of Mental Health, the National Research Council, the National Science Foundation, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. He has served on 22 editorial boards. He has also been on the board of the World Association of Social Psychiatry as well as on the boards of local and national voluntary organizations concerned with youth, human rights, and conservation.

Dr. Pierce has published more than 180 books, articles, and reviews, primarily on extreme environments, racism, media, and sports medicine. He has taken many professional trips to Antarctica, where a peak bears his name (Pierce Peak). In addition, he has won national and international awards for film production. He was also the subject of a book entitled "Race and Excellence: My Dialogue with Chester Pierce" by Ezra E.H. Griffith published in 1998.

Drs. Pierce and Fricchione sought to develop an infrastructure that could provide clinical, educational and research contributions to reduce the global burden of psychiatric related disease, and to prepare a new generation of twenty-first century global psychiatrists to work with international populations in America and abroad.

The Division was renamed in July, 2009 to honor its founder and mentor, Dr. Chester M. Pierce, and to reflect its global view. Dr. David C. Henderson was appointed Director at this time.

among their "partners":

do not wonder why our children are growing up as radicalized atheists; believing they are gay; have ADD and need ritalin; learn to sexualize at 5 and 6 years old; grow up hating the world; or hating themselves end up committing suicide.

this is an AGENDA.

Psychiatry’s New Normal: ‘Transgendered’ Persons

Psychiatry’s New Normal: ‘Transgendered’ Persons

The American Psychiatric Association drops ‘Gender Identity Disorder’ from its official classification of mental illnesses, as the drive for acceptance of sex-reassignment surgery advances.

BOSTON — The term “gender identity disorder” has been eliminated from the new edition of the American Psychiatric Association’s official guide to classifying mental illnesses, known as the DSM-5.

Whereas previously a man who “self-identified” as a woman (or vice versa) could have been classified as mentally ill, now the DSM-5 uses the term “gender dysphoria,” which means it is only a mental illness if you’re troubled by this self-identification. Elated activists in the “LGBT” community had lobbied the APA for the change for years.

And this month in Massachusetts, students, parents and teachers are reacting with concern to a recent policy document from state Commissioner of Education Mitchell Chester stating that public schools should allow students to choose which bathrooms and locker rooms they use on the basis of their “gender self-identification,” not their anatomy.

okay? : so being born a woman and deciding you are a man is no longer considered a mental illness or disorder.

and if you suggest otherwise, you may be imprisoned for hate crimes.

but: being a 5 year child entering school believing in God; honoring the founding fathers; believing the Christian traditions and values your parents passed down is INSANITY, and a form of mental illness requiring radical treatment.

and if you protest this, your child can be taken away from you by CPS, and eventually adopted by a homosexual couple.

Re: Psychiatry’s New Normal: ‘Transgendered’ Persons

and not to belabor the whole shyness thing, but thank You, God, for making some people more reticent!

if everyone were as garrulous as I, the world would be too noisy. :)

It truly IS an agenda...foisted on our children, many of whom have bought in to it,
and I wonder what will happen to their children...

well, no, I can see the proverbial handwriting on the wall.

but God...He will preserve His own. This is great comfort. ♥

Tomorrow I am going to file for disability as my introvertedness can be classified as a disability. Sure, I'll have play it out by staying inside all the time and making purchases from QVC and HSN.

OH Oh, You're not planning on doing the Klinger thing are you? If so that would could be seen as being normal now. And they would want you to explore your feelings and want to know how far you willing to go.

Now on the other hand if you were buying a garage full of cat toys that might work.

What I hate about the DSMV 5 is not only is it adding illnesses that arent illnesses but it is removing real illnesses from the DSMV. Eg Histrionic and Narcissitic Personality Disorders are both being removed from DSMV even though they are real and debilitating illnesses that cause a lot of misery to sufferers even causing self harm and abuse towards sufferers loved ones.

First off...many of the psychologists that are outside the board of the APA do not approve of some of the changes to the DSM 5...one of them being pedophilia. Another is the autism spectrum disorder. As a person who will be in this field who will use this DSM, I think I should let you all know that MOST psychologists and psychiatrists do not like the changes to the DSM. :)
