This is an example of a kind of 'sliding slope' thinking: people see the love between two adults of the same sex as something inferior, and for that reason can ONLY assume it leads to something far worse. However, this is an isolated case; there's no proof that acceptance of homosexuality will lead to more pedophilia. And why would it? There's nothing wrong with the love between two consenting adults for eachother, whether they be gay or straight. Pedophilia however is a mental disorder... and it occurs with both straights and gays.

I dont see what compassion has to do with premarital sex. Some teenagers decided to have sex, this is neither new nor out of the ordinary. While it may go against christian morals, in the big picture its not that big of a deal. They're young and young people do dumb things, trust me I know. They aren't hurting anyone else so I just dont see a huge issue with it.

Compassion is the understanding or empathy for the suffering of others and helping them to come out from the suffering. So again, i take it you don't have compassion.

We have a cultural difference here. In America we just don't do that.
