Meh, that's pushing a bit too far. There are other places that have had gay pride parades and they didn't get a form of mother nature spawning her wrath. This is mere coincidence because it followed the same weather pattern as it did in the '90s. :)

Nate: if you ever were to get hit by a car or something similar, would you immediately fall to your knees and ask God forgiveness because you assume it was a punishment for a sin you just made?

God makes it rain on the just and unjust alike

As a young man said, as he walked through the ruins of his home, "The Lord gives & the Lord taketh away." Praise the Lord.
What a witness...so easy to be thankful when all goes well but to stand strong for our almighty God in such a tragedy, is truly wonderful, a blessing for us all. <><

So OKC had a gay pride parade and that made God decide to demolish Moore, Oklahoma? Impeccable logic sir.

Obviously.

Since we know there were tornadoes back before modern gay pride parades...
there must have been "secret" gay pride parades, back in the pioneer days, that we didn't know about.

Gay pride parades have obviously been going on for hundreds of years.

Wow.
This is much more insidious than I ever realized.

I think these are the kind of comments that make Christians look bad.

I bet it all started with the Pilgrims. I'm sure it's why they had a harsh winter and so many died.

Americans must get out of this mindset that God is punishing the nation for its own immorality. Wrong. Every single major disaster declared to be one of the "worst of its type" to hit the USA ,has come on the back of the President and Government interfering with Israel, especially over giving up land.

Gay Parade has nothing to do with it. There are countless gay parades and nothing happens. Look to Israel and the US involvement.

This year the Canal Parade in Amsterdam will be held for the 17th time, but since 1996 the city has never been struck by a tornado. Tornados in the 'Tornado Alley' are common, not in Holland though. Had such a disaster struck Amsterdam just after its annual Gay Pride, I might have seen suspected the hand of God behind it... not with OK though.

This is more likely reason. On Tuesday 21 May At 9:30am Oklahoma local time the US Defence Secretary John Kerry arrived in Israel, ahead of Obama. The reason for this visit is to re-open peace talks with Israel and Palestinians. The US administration want to see Israel give up
outposts in the West Bank as part of the negotations.

2pm and Oklahoma is devestated by a super tornado the likes no one has ever seen before.

Now what is God trying to tell America and the US Government. Time and Time again the US has been punished for the actions of its leaders against Israel. Nothing to do with gays.

It's beyond ignorant. I can't believe people actually blame tornados THAT OCCUR OFTEN THIS TIME OF YEAR on gays and Israelis.
Hot airs mixing with cold air creates rotations that can form
Tornados. THATS it!!! Trying to say its Gods wrath for specific reasons has to be the most ridiculous thing I've read on this forum yet.

It is not far-fetched to assume that if you have an infinitely just God, He will occasionally use weather or disasters as a vehicle of punishment.

Is it our job to judge when these things occur? I don't think so.
