I think this is so cool. Even when he was criticized publicly for not doing enough he would not tell them. This is one guy that was not a show pony.

Access to heaven is a reward all the believers get by the grace of God. You don't need to give secretly. This sounded like people who gave in secret got something extra from God personally.

There are rewards Christians will get depending on their works on Earth. What the rewards are we don't know, but rewards from God can only be fantastic.
