No reports of riots yet.
I saw some New Black Panther types on tv acting odd, but if that's as bad as it gets, then we're blessed.

i wouldn't be surprised if something blew up near Zimmerman's house in the next few days.

I was wondering why, during the trial the Zimmerman camp did not rely on the Stand your ground law in Florida. I found out today.

The stand your ground law says you can stand up to a criminal and you do not have to back up. In Zimmerman's case, there was no choice to back up.

I was flipping through the channels and hit the news stations. If there is anything this trial has proven, its the racism of certain news organizations. Even after the prosecution KNEW they had no proof Zimmerman was a racist and it was never shown to any degree in the trial he was, the CNN's and MSNBC's of this world still shout racism.

There was even one of these, I feel your pain liberal propaganda machines that perverted the 911 call made by Zimmerman to make him look like a racist....and its been suggested Zimmerman may sue them.

Travon Martin's family is suspected to sue Zimmerman in a wrongful death suit and their lawyer is already throwing out the disproven racial card.

It seems as of this morning there have been no intensive rioting happening, but if there is, you know where to place the bame

The one thing Zimmer is guilty of is showing very poor judgement after the 911 operator told him not to follow Trayvon Martin.

Slips in judgment appear to be a common occurrence for Mr. Zimmerman.

Time for George to arm up again.
,,,,,,,,,yep this is the part that scares me,,,one President said "if i had a son he would look like this",,,,but forty something other Presidents said ,,,,,"the sons we have look like this",,,,,

i am a white man,,,,i supported Zimmerman during his trial because he did not break the law. but,,,,,,"creepy,(blank),cracker",,,when i heard that part of the girls testimony,(who was on the phone with him),,,i thought,,,"creepy???",,,,now the defense was trying to prove martin used the first racial slur,,,and the prosecutors were trying to prove Zimmerman profiled him because he was black,,,,but

"creepy",,,,we live here all together,,,,and a boy who was only 17,,,went to get stuff from a store. and (any man) saw him and followed him,,,(he was staying there with his fathers finance),,,so the captain of the "citizens on patrol",(did not recognize him as a resident),,,so he followed him and called 911,,,,

now the 17 year old,,,,saw a "creepy?" man following him?,,,he got scared!!!!,,,he turned to see who he was(see 911 call from Zimmerman to police),,,"he's checking me out,Zimmerman said",,,,then he turned and ran,,,,,"martin was scared,he was 17",,,then he went almost home/were he was staying,,,and turned around and looked to see if the "creepy guy was still following him",,,,and ran face to face with the "creepy guy",,,,and died.

now it is a "stand your ground state",,,,and a creepy guy followed you home, you are 17,he chased you once on foot,,,you ran,he then jumped in his truck and chased you more,,,parked his truck and then,,,followed you almost to your fathers fiances front door.,,,,and now what?,,whose the creepy guy?do you go inside?,what if he's a rapist?,,,Zimmerman said on the 911 tape he shouldn't have said his address aloud because he didn't know who the kids around him were.,,should martin let the creepy guy follow him home and reveal his adress?,,,endanger his fathers fiance?

no,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a 17 year old boy thought "stand your ground",,,,defend your house,,,,and he he did not loose,,,,he made me realize that every "citizen on patrol",,,,,needs to be in a jacket,,,or with a hat on,,,or both,,,,,,,,when my sons are followed home from the store by the "creepy guy",,,,,(Zimmerman,no puns intended, you followed the law that's the problem,,,you and trayvon met face to face following the law),,,,,,

now what?,,,,,think,,,,,,,

and zimmerman followed martin and martin was afraid,,,so martin turned to see who followed him and saw "a man with a jacket on with big light reflecting letters that said (citizens on patrol),,,,,,and martin said "hello how are you?,i am staying around the corner with my fathers finance",,,,,and Zimmerman said,,,"oh hello,i'm a c.o.p. captain patrolling the community,,then told the 911 operator,,and they go home",,,,

but instead both trayvon and george followed the law,,,,change the law,,,,make sure the next time one of our children meet up with any type of security,,,,,,,,,they are recognized as such,,,put hats on them,,,reflecter jackets,,,have them patrol in teams of mixed races,,,,,,and cry for all the children who die untill we figure it out as a nation...........i am in the midst of loving you,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Stand your ground does not give anyone license to beat people up who freak you out a little.

So, as someone who is 17, your reaction to authority is to beat them up? From what I saw on the news, Martin's family has church roots...how come they did not teach him to respect authority?

How come the only racial slur used was by Martin? It would seem if there was racism here, it was not from George Zimmerman...that is if you go by the facts at the trial.

How come the national news media is still insisting on using pictures of Martin as a young boy in a pristine hoodie?

How come George Zimmerman had no drugs in his system but Martin did?

Have you ever, in your life, considered taking a man's head and bashing it, repeatedly against a curb as a solution to...some creepy guy following you?

The Zimmerman trial has proven at least this one thing....the overt racism and hatreds exist in this country....and its in the black community.

And jumping Zimmerman when he was returning to his car was good judgement?
Make no mistake, I support the decision of the jury. Zimmerman was definitely not guilty of murder. Murder of any kind let alone murder in the second degree that the prosecution foolishly decided to gun for (no pun intended).

Now there is a difference between being a murderer and being unwise or overzealous. That he could have handled the situation up until he was assaulted is, I think, almost unquestionable.

That and the gentleman voted for Obama in 2008.

no actually i had to listen to Zimmerman's 911 tape about 4 times before i caught it,and no as a christian i don't endorse either shooting a person or beating them,,,,i noticed several things in the tape and from the testimony of the girl martin was on the phone with.

one is Zimmerman said to the 911 operator(after he got in his truck and drove and got out the second time),,i didnt want to give that(his address) because he said "i don't know these kids",,,so 111 or 1111 is the address to the civic center,,,but this is not said till after he got into his truck and followed martin, got out and was still on the phone with 911. so he again came up to other kids/people(not at the civic center) but closer to where the shooting took place,,,,,(so there were witnesses that were there and did not speak out),,,so he(Zimmerman) witnessed other people there that could have overheard his address, hence he says on the 911 tape "oh i didn't want to say that,i don't know these kids" ,,,,who what other kids?,,kids watch fights, but when guns go off they "run",,,scared i know, but never the less from the tape we know they were there so they needed to go door to door and find them for questioning.

the racial slur was brought up in the defense,,i (do understand) that Zimmerman did not use any racial slurs. i might also add if you notice Shooting of Trayvon Martin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Georges father Robert Zimmerman is a magistrate(judge) and also his mother Afro/Peruvian from Peru so George Zimmerman would not have used racial slurs 1st from the aspect of his own genealogy(mothers side) and 2nd from an legal aspect,(father a judge, and him seeking a criminal justice career),,,,

now martin we should understand was a kid,,,to me Zimmerman at 29 is a kid. but the same word (not the racial slur) he used still sticks out to me,,,,,"creepy",,,"woe he's creepy",,,"he's giving me the creeps",,,the same way we all use the word "creepy",,,,refers to an unknown,"who is he?","why's he following me?",,"is he gonna rob me?",,,,"is he stalking my father's fiance?",,,,,you see he did not know.

so is "slamming a person of authority into the pavement",makes no sense. that is if he thought he was "creepy",,if any 17 year old had just come to stay at the townhouses(he did not know Zimmerman was the community watchman),,,so he got scared. he ran,he tried to shake the "creepy guy",,but the creepy guy, got in his truck and ran him down.,,,,,what would you do if you were followed by a "creepy guy" with no identification on himself denoting he was a person of authority,,whom you broke and ran from, then turned to look to see if you had lost, then realized he had ran you down in a truck and had you cornered again?,,,,defend yourself?,,,what would you tell the other children to do?

I'm not defending or discrediting either of the two,,,it's obvious they both would have done thing's different if it was possible to go back to that day,,,,,but now,,,,,what do we do?,,,,,,,,,we obligated now that we see how these things will turn about to state to the authorities,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, "WE WANT ALL CITIZENS ON PATROL,ALL NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PERSONNEL,,ALL SECURITY TO BE DRESSED IN SOME TYPE T-SHIRT,,HAT ECT.",,,,,,,,,so we don't confuse them to be just some "creepy guy we need to defend ourselves from",,,,,,,,

Time for you to go to the ignore bin. Ok the problem is that all we got to here was what the media told us. A jury heard the facts and made a dicision. I wont say if Zimmerman is innocent or guilty because i wasnt there and Treyvon is not here to tell his side of the story. It annoys me that everyone is turning this into a race issue. This is just the kind of nonsense that perpetuates racism.

What a shame.

We actually appear to agree on most points.

Make no mistake though, attempts will be made on the man's life. This is not the end of George Zimmerman's troubles, unfortunately.
