California Governor Jerry Brown signed a controversial bill into law Monday afternoon allowing the state’s transgender public school students to choose which bathrooms they use and whether they participate in boy or girl sports. The law applies to the entire state’s 6.2 million elementary and high school kids in California's public school system.

I live in California and this bill just makes me dislike this place even more. I know stuff like this will be all over soon enough, but I would like to move away from here. If God wants me to stay, then fine. His plan is better than mine... but I really hope I get to leave.

But can I take the ocean with me?

Let's hope this law will have an impact on fewer and fewer people...

Ah, my home state continues its downhill drive towards the cliff.

I'm pretty sure that when Christianity becomes illegal someday, it'll happen here in California first.

California must be really liberal to move to Canada.

If this keeps up...Nevada will have ocean front property.

Sounds like basic human rights to me letting people use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.

Have some compassion for those different from you!

California is quite a bit more Liberal than Canada.
but the Liberal (Communist/Fascist) apparatus is growing in California at a much faster rate then here.
maybe it's cuz we're nicer - or God likes us better - but i suspect it's because we do not have private firearms and are not scheduled for the same kind of take-down.

"Los Angeles assigns a whopping 469 officers per square mile, followed by New York with 303 officers per square mile, and Chicago with 227 cops per square mile....

....Of course, such heavy police presence comes at a price. Los Angeles spends over $2 billion per year on the police force, a 36% increase within the last eight years. The LAPD currently consumes over 55% of Los Angeles’ discretionary budget, a 9% increase over the past nine years. Meanwhile, street repair and maintenance spending has declined by 36%, and in 2011, one-fifth of the city’s fire stations lost units, increasing response times for 911 medical emergencies"

and this is....."Despite the steady hue and cry by government agencies about the need for more police, more sophisticated weaponry, and the difficulties of preserving the peace and maintaining security in our modern age, the reality is far different. Indeed, violent crime in America has been on a steady decline, and if current trends continue, Americans will finish the year 2013 experiencing the lowest murder rate in over a century."

....and Hitler made the trains run on time. Police states usually have a low murder rate.

The reason why Ca. may be more liberal than Canada is two fold.

1. Its warmer in Ca. Liberals move faster and cannot be cornered as well.

2. Voter fraud.

I try to think of every way a law could be abused, before I agree or disagree with it.

actually, allowing this nonsense to go on is one of the most anti-human ideas i've heard.
