'You got that right Hoss'. It must be the spirit of our beloved John Wayne that we have in us that makes us do these kind of things. Is it alright to help the poor who have not asked because they are incapacitated? Is it an imposition on the oppressed to give them light when they are living in darkness? Is it evil to offer a helping hand to those who live in the pitfalls of life without understanding the condition of their state? Is it an evil to you to set free those who have been afflicted or have come under the oppression of a deranged dictator or the influence of a religious zealot? I am not referring to this situation in Syria but the obligation that we have as a free people to bring relief to those who are under some form of oppression and do not know it. If bringing relief allows the gospel an open door for a period of time, is it worth it when lost souls are at stake? Many are searching in their heart for freedom but you never hear it because they are suppressed. It happened in Russia and in other communist countries as the wall came down, God opened the door and the gospel entered in. It may not last a lifetime but we have to take advantage of the opportunity as a free people and keep knocking on the door to see the oppressed set free to hear the message that they have been hindered from hearing. That is hope and optimism with affirmative action and not skepticism through apathy and passivity.
realize that you have been talking to someone whose primary worldview consists of hatred for a specific group of people...maybe this will help you see the common denominator...

this person views the syrian rebellion against assad as evil...assad is an enemy of...someone...
this person defends iran as harmless and peaceful...iran is an outspoken enemy of...someone...
this person regards much of the holocaust as a hoax...the holocaust was largely a crime against...someone...
the person thinks 9/11 was a not perpetrated by al qaeda but instead perpetrated by...someone...

i could go on and on with more examples...but it is the same 'someone' in each case...fill in the 'someone' and you will have completely figured this person out...

Okay, those who have monitored my participation on these forums will know I do not agree with Zone 100% of the time, but to completely dismiss everything she says and posts would be foolish. To her credit, she often has her claims backed up with viable news sources which is more than we can say for most of us.

For my part she reminds me that there are more things in heaven and on earth.

lol,,,i am a computer catastrophe,i use a wireless device that connects and disconnects at will,,,if I'm in the middle of typing a post and it disconnects i loose everything i wrote because i have the boxes check to dump cookies, history clear passwords ect. so if i write a post and it disconnects I'm not signed into c.c. so i must log in before i post. now my wife showed me how to use Microsoft word to keep from loosing it so i could just write it and then post after logging in but I'm still an amateur,i post on the wrong forum ect. doing this.

i am an old man, maybe pop the tires on my wheelchair is the best option, that way i cant get to the keyboard, lol. as i say tho i am an old man so i remember things i saw while some of you were young and things that happened before others were born. now i see many arguments in the threads and i think well,,ones far left, the other far right, but i remember the middle so maybe what i will say will help. but if it fuels more fire forgive me,i think it better to be together than apart.

so i will tell you what i remember,i looked up on the www some source to explain it but remember to check all of the sources as to accuracy because i only searched for what i saw while some were not born and others children. i will post the links i see as valuable to the issue. THE GW BUSH--OSAMA BIN LADIN CONNECTION ,,,i dont know who the owners of this www are but i remember the name "James r. bath" he was the next door neighbor to g.h.w.bush in Houston Texas,,,and he was also the banker in charge of osama bin la den's bank account.

Operation Cyclone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia here is a page which depicts a connection again to the same bin laden family,(g.h.w.b.,at the time was the director of the c.i.a.),,,do the home work, and you will find you can prove the connection. Mujahideen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (remember the directer of the c.i.a.) is who trained him,,,,

notice the connection is not with the son,Osama,,but his father Sheikh,,,he is who made the agreement with the bush family to have his children admitted to a top college,,and this is why they(although all air traffic was canceled on 911) were permitted to exit the nation,it was a prior agreement with osamas father.,,,

I understand what you are saying, but these criteria are pretty vague.
Well, for one thing, our current administration came out blaming the Syrian gov't as the
investigation was getting started. This is legit?? It seems like the guilty is already settled
in their minds. What use are "facts" to them? They jumped the gun and now they've toned
it down some. They want to get all upset as if they are on a higher moral plateau than the
people of Syria. They want to fly around the world to stop this "evil regime". Why want the
U.S. Gov't look in its backyard at the millions of civilians they've killed. Its been going on
for a long time. There is no truth in the U.S. Gov't. They get upset because 300 were killed with
chemicals while 50+ miliion have been killed in their own backyard. I don't see where the USA has a leg to
stand on, to accuse any government of anything.

i wonder if Lord Rothschild's and Rupert Murdoch's project will be okay.
what with all the trouble.

Israel Grants Oil Rights in Syria to Murdoch and Rothschild

by craig on February 21, 2013 2:24 pm in Uncategorized

".....For Israel to seek to exploit mineral reserves in the occupied Golan Heights is plainly illegal in international law. Japan was successfully sued by Singapore before the International Court of Justice for exploitation of Singapore’s oil resources during the second world war. The argument has been made in international law that an occupying power is entitled to opeate oil wells which were previously functioning and operated by the sovereign power, in whose position the occupying power now stands. But there is absolutely no disagreement in the authorities and case law that the drilling of new wells – let alone fracking – by an occupying power is illegal.

Israel tried to make the same move twenty years ago but was forced to back down after a strong reaction from the Syrian government, which gained diplomatic support from the United States. Israel is now seeking to take advantage of the weakened Syrian state; this move perhaps casts a new light on recent Israeli bombings in Syria.

In a rational world, the involvement of Rothschild and Murdoch in this international criminal activity would show them not to be fit and proper persons to hold major commercial interests elsewhere, and action would be taken. Naturally, nothing of the kind will happen."

New Push in US for Tougher Sanctions, War Threats Against Iran
by Jim Lobe, January 17, 2013

Four U.S. non-proliferation specialists are urging the Obama administration to impose tougher economic sanctions against Iran and issue more explicit threats to destroy its nuclear programme by military means.

In a 155-page report, the specialists, who were joined by the head of a right-wing pro-Israel lobby group, the Foundation for the Defence of Democracies (FDD), said Washington should declare its intent to institute a “de facto international embargo on all investments in, and trade with” Iran, excepting food and medicine, if it does not freeze its nuclear-related work.

The calls come amidst speculation over a critical meeting between Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council – the United States, Britain, France, China and Russia – plus Germany (P5+1), which have met over the last two months in an apparent effort to unify their positions before meeting with Iran. That meeting has not yet been scheduled, but most observers believe it will take place at the end of the month.

The report, “U.S. Nonproliferation Strategy for the Changing Middle East,” also said Washington should “increase Iranian isolation, including through regime change in Syria” and “undertake…overt preparations for the use of warplanes and/or missiles to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities with high explosives”.

increase Iranian isolation, including through regime change in Syria...hmmm.

sounds like the same stuff the PNAC neocons were talking about.

oh.

it is the PNAC neocons - just a new name for the think tank.
same think. same tank.

the Foundation for the Defence of Democracies (FDD)

For years, Syria has been a focus of FDD's research because of its alignment with Iran and support for organizations such as Hezbollah.[19] In 2012, as the Arab Spring spread to Syria, FDD launched "The Syria Project" to support dissident efforts in removing the Assad regime.[20] In that effort, FDD facilitated a Skype call between dissidents and U.S. journalists in 2012[21] and produced multiple studies and memos urging US officials to act.[22]

why are these people saying Washington should “increase Iranian isolation, including through regime change in Syria” and “undertake…overt preparations for the use of warplanes and/or missiles to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities with high explosives"?

what does any of this have to do with Washington is what i don't get.
oh well. have fun. try not to get hurt.

For a guy that likes to ''lead from behind'', I expect he will wait for some other country to jump in first.
But I agree, stay out of this one.
Ooops England is out...now lets see, who can I get to lead... in front of me?

no...it is an -accusation- of an intention...coming from one of the most blatantly political generals in the past few decades...

and like i pointed out already...it is a pretty ignorant accusation at that...how do you 'take out' somalia? there was nothing there to 'take out'
Fair point. You can dismiss what General Wesley eye witness account he had back in 2001 as hearsay.

I see countries on that list, whose leaders have fallen.

My understanding of take out isto control the government not destroy a country.

The United States, which sees Somalia as a third front in its war on terrorism, provides the transitional government with weapons, training and financial support.

Oops! Confirmed: Obama’s Brother In Bed With Terrorists.

It has been learned that the relationship between President Barack Obama’s half-brother Malik Obama and Sudan’s President Omar Al-Bashir is much closer than previously thought. Malik is the Executive Secretary of the Islamic Da’wa Organization (IDO) as reported by all major Saudi press, including Okaz.

How significant is this?

Very significant. The IDO has been created by the Sudanese Government, which is considered by the U.S. State Department as a terrorist state. This places Malik Obama in bed with terrorists and working as an official with a terrorist state.

I guess they would have a few arguments over the kitchen table since Obama is busily blowing up women and children in Pakistan, Yemen and Afghanistan.

The Egyptian military opened files and identified Malik Obama, the Kenyan half-brother of President Obama, as “a major architect” managing investments for the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Now remember the Obama administration supported the Muslim Brotherhood when the result of the “Arab Spring” was to oust Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and elect Muslim Brotherhood-backed Mohamed Morsi as president June 30, 2012.

Obviously, it's a complicated relationship between the two.

Al-Qaida linked rebels attack Christian village and U.S. taxpayers are being forced to pay for it.

Syrian forces that Obama is about to bomb tried in vain to defend a 2000-year-old Christian village from Al-Qaeda/rebel attack. The residents still speak Aramaic, the language of Jesus. Now they are being shelled by White House-backed jihadists. funded and supported by the Obama Administration and the Democrats.

Video 1: Rebels are saying that they captured the village. You know what this means, a new massacre. Al-Qaida will butcher all of them, you will see the videos the next few days.

AIPAC says they support US strike on Syria By REUTERS

09/04/2013 02:56

Influential US pro-Israel groups remained quiet on the topic to avoid being seen as rooting for the United States to go to war

WASHINGTON - Three influential pro-Israel groups urged US lawmakers on Tuesday to authorize US President Barack Obama to launch an attack on Syria, signaling a stepped-up lobbying effort for American military action.

The statements by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) represented the groups' most public show of support for US military action since the Aug. 21 attack near Damascus in which Syria's government is accused of using chemical weapons to kill more than 1,400 people
