Dear Friends and Partners,
Right now I am facing the biggest challenge of my life. On Valentines day I was diagnosed with incurable Multiple Myeloma Cancer and given a 3-5 year window of time. In order to put this into remission and be ready for my Spring 2014 tour I must go into chemotherapy right away. I will be under 24/7 medical care for the next 9 months straight.
I’m determined to beat this and see you in concert.

Hmmm, last I knew Carman was a follower of the Prosperity/Word of Faith gospel. Why does he need chemotherapy when an adequate infusion of faith will heal him?

I thought I ought to clarify my prior post, it was not intended to mock Carman's medical condition, but the hypocrisy within the word of faith movement. According to word of faith/proserity gospel followers anyone will be healed of any illness as long as they have enough faith, yet they follow everyone else to the doctor when they fall ill.

My sympathies and prayers are with Carman and his family.

Irradiate yourself and try it, I think everyone here is going to go with medicine over just prayer. (Although all of course would pray in addition).

I think you missed my tongue in cheek humor.

Did Carmen ever say, "anyone will be healed of any illness as long as they have enough faith"? If not, perhaps you have misrepresented his beliefs.
