A Winter Haven, Fla., mom is accused of shooting and killing her daughter while the girl held her 4-month-old daughter in her arms.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Adele Bing, 52, told police she shot her daughter in a case of mistaken identity and that authorities should lock her up "for good" according to an arrest report.

Ruby Bing went to her mom's house on Monday night. Adele Bing told authorities her 26-year-old daughter was banging and kicking her door. Bing thought the person at the door was her boyfriend, whom she had just had a fight with. Bing armed herself with a .22 caliber gun, opened the door and shot her daughter in the chest, authorities said.

The baby was unharmed.

Bing told authorities her boyfriend had threatened to come back to her house and kill her.

Let me guess where this is going: the Republican Party USA is to blame for facilitating the use of her firearm.

If it was posted by anyone else, David, my first response wouldn't be so incredulous.
It needed to be said in order to alert people as to where this thread was going.

Kinda bad the first thing we think of is your hatred for all things not David_1 when we see your name on here.

That's a tragic story. I kind of feel like there is more to it than what is simply being stated. On one side, the woman must have been terrified of her boyfriend to shoot first and ask questions later. I mean, to just open the door and fire when it could have been anyone on the other side of the door in the case of the fear issue shows that the woman was terrified. Either that, or she had some mental issues that resulted in paranoia and anger.

On the other side, maybe this was really just a spat between mother and daughter that got out of hand.

Either way, it is terribly tragic for a young woman to lose her life this way and the real issue we should be considering is that this young woman now faces eternity. Is that eternity with God or away from God? May we be ever vigilant and awake regarding our own walk with the Lord and praying for our friends, families and neighbors, as we never know when the Lord will call us from this world.

May the Lord bless and keep you, and make His face to shine upon you and be gracious and bring you peace.

This just shows how easy it is to kill someone during a moment of rage which sees any ability to think logically and clearly turn into red mist.

Instead of calling police saying that she thought her boyfriend had come back to kill her and hiding somewhere, yes, hide and use gun as last resort, or just running out a back door, she just blindly shoots the person on the doorstep.

Send her to the chair.

I agree with everything said here, except the last sentence, so I couldn't like your post, so I thought I'd just reply with quote and let you know that I agreed with 90% of what you said. :)

David, why do you spend so much time on hating American Republicans? You don't even live in America. Never have.
Should we post news stories about Australias corruption? Or what we consider corruption by other cultures that have no relation to your government?

I own a handgun, and never killed anyone. It is my right to have one for protection.
I could also kill someone with a drinking straw. Should those only be used on the battlefield too? Guns don't kill people. The force behind it does.
