600,000 K from just a weekends donation. The good you could do with that sort of money. I tried to find his financial statement for a year to see where it goes but I could not find it.

As a Canadian, it seems to me that Americans don't mind people being successful in business: a land of opportunity, etc.

But a preacher that is monetarily successful is another matter: if donations are truly charitable, they need to be accounted for carefully. By the very nature of the discourse that a preacher supposedly identifies himself with, he is supposed to be counted among those who are 'pilgrims and strangers on the earth' (Hebrews 11).

I have no problem with "successful" preachers. I have issues when that wealth is built off of unbiblical practices. (such as monetary tithing) but that's another topic for another day.

As a modern day empire, the family's total net worth and assets combined have been valued in the $300 – $400 billion range with Jacob Rothschild (a British investment banker) having the greatest net worth at $50 billion.

In the 20th century, they divested a great deal of their once immense wealth to literally hundreds of descendants and a great many charities. The family once had one of the largest private art collections in the world, for example, but they donated most of it to the world's public museums. Today, a significant proportion of the art in the world's public museums are Rothschild donations which were sometimes, in the family tradition of discretion, donated anonymously.

And, contrary to public opinion, a fair number of them were anti-Zionist.

Yeah, that's like trying to find out how much money the Rothchilds have, LOL!

More like a new employee. This theft was most likely committed by a church employee, usher or deacon that helped collect the offering, or by someone that cased the church for weeks to determine where the money was kept and how to evade security.

According to a report in the International Bulletin of Missionary Research, Christian leaders will embezzle an estimated $39 billion in 2014.

The Preacher should have nothing to do with the Church finances. Finances are up to the elders and approved by the body of the Church.

does anyone know whether Osteen ever preached this verse?

Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
Luke 6:30

Many leaders of churches accross America use the same speech when preaching to their flock.

"Don't make me hollar don't make me shout just turn them pockets inside out. Reach in them jeans and pull out them greens. Hallelujah!"

That's why I just leave it alone. If people don't read for themselves and blindly throw money at people, I lose no sleep; it's no coming from my account.

Does the cash add up to the amount of Biblical truth he has tried to steal away and replace with his own opinions?
