Father Slawomir Kostrzewa says toy company represents 'world of death' and that Zombie and Monster Fighter mini-figures can lead children 'to the dark side' A Polish priest has warned parents to be on their guard against Lego, warning the plastic blocks are a tool of Satan and can "destroy" children's souls.

That's silly. And if you don't like your kid own zombie stuff, don't buy it.
I personally wouldn't buy my daughter that monster high stuff if I had a kid

The Lego company claims you can make anything out of legos.
So I went to buy some legos, and I paid for them with money made out of legos.
They threw me out of the store...
clearly something evil and sinister going on here.

Serious? is Lego really evil, or is it how these companies use lego for there financial gain? Its like a gun, whats the danger? the gun itself? or the person pulling the trigger?

Its not the object that's evil, its what people can use that object for. Like a feather? whats wrong with a feather? nothing till you sharping the stem, and stab someone in the eye with it!. the objects are not a danger, its the mind behind the user of it.

So how lego is evil? perhaps if you said the mind behind the use of lego can be evil, then yes i would agree. but an object can do nothing til you pick it up to use it. and its how you use an object that's the danger of evilness.

I know how lego is evil, they teach our kids to be inventors. So if they invent now they will grow up to invent weapons of mass destruction....Just joking.

When we get to the point of calling toys like Legos evil, it gives more credibility to people like Bill Nye who are vehemently against creation being a viable model for schools. Like was just said, toys like these encourage kids to want to invent, imagine, build, and accomplish things themselves. Trust me, these aren't skills we want the next generation to miss out on.

I'm not understanding. Because a few extremists label toys as evil, this influences peoples scientific based evidence on why they don't believe in God? Isn't Nye's beliefs based off his view of science, and that is why he is against creation, not far fetched accusations?
Perhaps if you'd said 'this kind of extremism only serves to feed peoples distrust and disdain for religion' you'd have a point. But applying your statement to people using science as their basis just doesn't mesh.

Exactly, and I seen a video with Bill Nye where he was arguing about Noah's ark. Saying it couldn't have been built cause they were uneducated and unskilled, and comparing it to a boat that was built in the last generation that twisted and broke apart in the waves. He must have forgot that most of them had to be skilled carpenters cause they had to be good with their hands cause they did not have the machines we have today to help. Plus there has been a couple of groups that made a scale model of the ark and put in a tank and subjected it to the harsh conditions the ocean has, and it stayed a float and did not capsize or break apart.
