"This is a very dear Jew, with a warm and loving connection to the community, and we are shocked by the assassination,” said the rabbi. “We are praying for his health – Moshe son of Hana.” "They shot him in the back from the forest,” Kernes’s friend Yury Sapronov told Vesti Ukrainy, a news outlet. “The injury is serious. His lung is pierced and his liver pierced all the way through.”

This is not good news. Ukraine is spiralling out of control pretty fast. I hope this mayor can make a safe recovery. Very sad all the anti-semitism going on in Ukraine and also sad all the violence on all sides. I am still hoping Ukraine will be able to pull itself back together, but this is starting to look bleak.

JK2, "Kernes was shot while jogging, or taking a dip in a spring, according to conflicting media reports." Say whatttt?!! Those are two very different activities--sounds like a badly constructed cover-up to me!! At least make what he was doing when he got shot jive with the other account, lol.. Somebody needs to get their stories straight. :(

According to National news he was exercising. I would take it as jogging.
No matter what, violence is taking over the entire world. No person is safe,
unless they work for the U.S. Government under the our leader.
