So I'm sure we all know about Yitzhak Kaduri's prophecy regarding the so-called "messiah" that was to come after Ariel Sharon's death. I think there is ample evidence that the first person who rears his head in the messiah's name after Ariel Sharon's death (Ariel Sharon has died now) is going to be the antichrist and not the triumphant Messiah Jesus. But after a moment of silence following Ariel Sharon's death, this bit of news suddenly popped up:

Catholics To 'Leave Israel Or Face Divine Wrath' - Inside Israel - News - Israel National News

It's not just this that impresses upon me a coming change. It's also the fact that the peace talks have broken down between Israel and Palestine, with Palestine's leadership joining with the terrorist organization of Hamas. I also see more and more Jewish calls to rebuild the temple.

So do you think the antichrist is working behind the scenes to set himself up in place of Christ right now? Do you think the note in the article comes from the scribblings of a mad man, or do you feel fire really will appear as though to come down from heaven upon any Catholic who remains by May 5th? Would be interesting to see. Also it's interesting to note that Protestants were not counted under the "divine wrath."

In a word - strange. Very strange.

My mistake. Jumping the gun here. No mention of "fire" coming down from heaven in the article or the note. Just a mention that they would be killed by the heavens. Anyway, read it for yourself.

What I'm getting at and what I probably didn't articulate very well is:

Do you think that the individual Yitzhak Kaduri had in mind in his supposed prophecy is the same individual who wrote the note (whether or not he is the antichrist to come)?

Yitzhak Kaduri said:
The revelation of the Messiah will be fulfilled in two stages: First, he will actively confirm his position as Messiah without knowing himself that he is the Messiah. Then he will reveal himself to some Jews, not necessarily to wise Torah scholars. It can be even simple people. Only then he will reveal himself to the whole nation. The people will wonder and say: ‘What, that’s the Messiah?’ Many have known his name but have not believed that he is the Messiah.”
"When he comes, the Messiah will rescue Jerusalem from foreign religions that want to rule the city," Kaduri once said. "They will not succeed for they will fight against one another."
It appears at least that someone using the title of messiah is trying to rescue Jerusalem from Catholicism and used - what seems to be - a common Jew to pass the notes.

My first question would be if Yitzhak Kaduri is even a prophet. If he is not a prophet therefore his prophecy is a no-prophecy. If he is a prophet examine his prophecies therefore and watch.

Really though my main question, maybe better suited for bible discussion topic is:
What need of prophets be there in this age when all the prophecies are found all ready in the Bible concerning such things by verifiable prophets?

Ah. You misunderstand me. I don't believe that Kaduri is a prophet. My interest is in whether or not someone will take him up on his "prophecy" and pretend to be the messiah. And if so, then to what extent would they deceive the people? And then would this individual become the antichrist? Right now there is this sense of a coming messiah - even among the unbelieving Jews. So it makes me curious what will come in a few years. Will the third temple be built at the end of the Israel-Palestine conflict? Is the antichrist coming soon? Recent events seem to be heading that way.

So what I'm talking about is a little different from what you feel is of primary importance. And if another feels as you do that this thread's topic is unimportant, then I would not encourage them to post. No worries.

Heh I didn't misunderstand you. I know you don't believe in this Kaduri guy Artistocat. My comment and also question was directed to the topic in general.

However my point still stands. If this man be a No-Prophet then literally and logically he have given forth no prophecy. Therefore we need not worry about such. Heh I have thought like you have that maybe you have a pretender try to fulfill the false prophecies to beguile people, but that also is not possible as the No-Prophecy is no prophecy lol. So really we need not worry about such things.
