Blue state governors are saying no to housing the Central American refugee children coming to the United States.
The Democratic Party governors of Connecticut and Maryland are saying no.

These are clearly two very liberal/progressive states.

So what does their reaction to taking on these refugee children tell us?

It tells us liberals/progressives are fine with "spreading the wealth around", and helping others out, until it hits their own wallet and resources.

It's fun to spend the money of other people.
We want to keep our stuff, our stuff.

The liberal mind explodes/collapses when the desire to spend money intrudes on their human desire to keep their stuff.

I suppose you're right...it is probably pretty simple. Maybe it's as simple as people want to do things that make them feel better about themselves such as voting in favor of liberal policies without realizing the full extent of their consequences. After all...we humans all have one thing in common....a desire to have value and to be comfortable. So we spin in whatever circles we spin in...whether they be liberal or conservative.

People are basically hypocrites. It's easy enough to bash Texas and Arizona when you live in Connecticut or Maryland and you know that you'll not have to deal with the problem first hand. The liberal elites in those states don't want to have to deal with those kids.

The fact that liberals don't willingly live in tents at a communal campground, so a majority of their money can go to help the poor and not to fund a comfy life, is proof enough that most are hypocrites. :p

Ideology is affected not just by social factors, but also by a dopamine receptor gene called DRD4. The study's authors say this is the first research to identify a specific gene that predisposes people to certain political views.

It's interesting that the gene is associated with "novelty seeking behaviour"....which can be defined as a "fleeting amusement".

Or maybe they just prefer to spread the wealth among their citizens. Besides what person though it was a good idea to send central americans to New England?

Im starting to think you are hanging out with soininme too much. your recent posts abouts liberazls show a lack of understanding about the variety of causes they have. NOt all liberals are OMG YOUR POOR HERE TAKE THIS MONEY!!! Some of us don't really even care about that.

Those abused kids were invited by our president. Asked to come, so he could make political hay....

a very dangerous trip with dubious results at the end.

A liberal caused the problem, as they usually do and now they want someone else to bail them out ( or look bad in sending these poor kids back where they come from, hence the political aspects of this )

Kinda like the Trayvon Martin propaganda where the news agencies only put his picture up when he was 12, making him look like the victim.

Conservatives give 30% more to charity than the compassionate liberal does.

Ya know when those ''caring'' liberals promise and promise and promise? Guess what? 70% of all monies collected for welfare? It stays in the government. The average for private charities is 30%.

That goes against liberal thought that says ownership of property/money can be claimed and not forced to be redistributed.

It looks as though your like minded liberal ideologue, ends justifies the means wealth spreaders came up with the idea to send them to New England. I've not seen any level headed person espousing the idea we should let potentially disease inflicted people to be released into our communities as free range asylum seekers.
