What kills me is that every high profile person that pushes the "climate change" being caused by carbon emissions invariably has a carbon footprint from just one home that would exceed that of that average American, yet most of them maintain multiple homes that dwarf those of the working class that they chastise for not being more green. Guaranteed Michael Moore's carbon footprint for one home in one month exceeds mine for an entire year.

I like your balanced approach. I read a book some time ago called "man in the mirror". Don't recall the author but in the book, it asserted that after WW2 with all the men returning home, coupled with the large manufacturing capacity due to the war effort.... it was decided in the corporate back rooms to employ psychologists to help in the use of the new medium of tv, to turn us into a society of "consumers". I never researched that assertion outside of the book but it certainly seems plausible.

Climate change is not only bad science, politically mortivated, its there as a money scheme for the left...and some on the right as well.

How does calling someone who is rich beyond any stretch of the imagination, AND needlessly owns 9 homes, a right wing capitalist, turning him into or calling him Satan? LOL. A person can only live in one home at a time, while spending a fortune to keep the other houses and grounds, etc, in good repair while they are not being used. All the billions of dollars this guy spent on his 9 homes, could have been better spent had it been given to worthwhile charities. Maybe Michael Moore should offer his other 8 houses to the homeless who have nowhere else to go.
