I still have not received my bigoted marching orders from the hive mind.

Life has not been quite the same after the Koch brothers switched us all to carrier pigeons to cut costs and make our communications more difficult to monitor.

Whatever your political leanings, seeing military troops on the ground against own citizens seems pretty disturbing.

David, why are you so filled with hate? What happened to you to have this hate? I find it hard to agree with you because you couch your remarks with so much venom. I defintely believe there is more to fear from an oppressive, militarized gov. than from unruly or even criminal citizens. This is why those of us on what you would consider being "on the Right" can't understand why YOU would want a bloated, ever-growing, power-hungry government?

How about the 12 year old black kid who took a knife went to a playground and stabbed to death a completely random 9 year old white boy for no reason other then he was bored? Did you read that in the news and care to offer a slighted opinion on that one David? Probably didn't even know it happened.
Cause it doesn't matter if white people get killed, we deserve it here in America.
White guilt!!! WOOOHOO!!

Boy, 12, accused of stabbing boy, 9, to have psych exam
The only one not on a guilt trip is Satan.

Why mention the race of the one who died if it was not important to you?

The reason why this thread was started was.......?

Its very interesting. There is a talk show here that constantly shows and proves that the news here in liberal south Florida does not mention the race of a minority, if they commit a crime, but they all mention the race of someone who was harmed by a white person.

It ain't that hard to fogire out.....and a hoodie reference? Trayvon Martin the great liberal hero?

At least liberals are consistant in their bigotries and ignorance. Ya wanna know why David_1 is so against conservatives? Because time after time his threads are proven to be filled with errors, by conservatives.

The Center for Research in Crime and Justice at New York University show that eighty percent of violent crimes involve an attacker and victim of the same race. This is substantiated by FBI homicide statistics. Black males are the number one demographic, per capita, for homicide in the U.S. AND blacks overall are the number one demographic for homicide victims, per capita, in the U.S.. Blacks kill blacks at a much greater rate, per capita, than any other demographic. In fact, more than half of ALL homicides in the U.S. are perpetuated by blacks with almost all of those perpetuators black males despite blacks comprising just over about 12% of the U.S. population.

Here's the 2010 Expanded Homicide Data Table: FBI — Expanded Homicide Data Table 3

That said, if we divide each population by the number of crimes committed by individuals in that population, we see that the rate of black-perpetrated hate crimes against whites is approximately 1.6 times higher than the rate of white-perpetrated hate crimes against blacks.

What is clear to me is that liberal policies have created very dangerous communities out of once safe communities for both the residents who live in them and the police who patrol them.

People like yourself David voted for liberal politicians who have indebted their states, counties, and cities (indeed the entire country) to transform once safe working blue collar Christian and Catholic neighborhoods into secularized urban war zones dominated by welfare, drugs, fatherless households, and street gangs.

So now police agencies struggle to police blighted areas populated by poor performing, largely unsocialized, dysfunctional, often fatherless, and often criminal people. The decline of the U.S. is a historical tragedy that continues.

Locally, St Louis and surrounding areas have a largely fatherless gang-oriented youth culture that engages in all of the usual gang behaviors (e.g. crime, drugs, fornication, violence, etc...). Here's the police description of the event:

"St. Louis County Police Chief Jon Belmar gave the first details from his department’s investigation into the fatal shooting Saturday of 18-year-old Mike Brown by an unidentified Ferguson police officer outside the Canfield Green Apartment complex. At a news conference on Sunday at the Ferguson fire station, Belmar said the police officer was attacked by two individuals.

'One of those individuals, at the time, came in as the officer was exiting his car, allegedly pushed the police officer back in the car, where he physically assaulted the police officer. It is our understanding at this point in the investigation that within the police car there was a struggle over the police officer’s weapon,' Belmar said. Belmar said the officer’s gun was fired at least once inside the police car, but the officer shot and killed Brown outside of the vehicle. Belmar said the number of shots fired was 'more than a few.'

When pressed on whether Brown was fleeing at the time of those shots, Belmar demurred. 'I’m not going to be able to get into any of those types of questions,' said Belmar. 'I haven’t had the opportunity even in fact yet to sit down with the prosecuting attorney’s office. I don’t want to do anything that would ever prejudice this case on either side of it.'

The officer has been placed on paid administrative leave during the investigation. According to Belmar, the man has been with the Ferguson Police for six years and has had 'no issues.'”

The police assert the 18-year-old male pushed the officer back into the cruiser where the suspect allegedly assaulted the officer while the two struggled over his gun. At least one shot was fired inside the vehicle before the officer allegedly fired multiple shots outside the vehicle, killing the suspect.

Eyewitness accounts vary widely from the police account but also each other. This is a good example of one: Michael Brown Shooting Witness Tells the Story -- NYMag

As you can see, there's a real difference between the two accounts.

But what isn't up for debate is the same wild behavior the police describe the suspect using that led to his death is the same wild behavior we see displayed by his peers afterwards:

All the usual suspects exhibiting all the usual behaviors:

^ Not a shred of common sense, morality, socialization, or civility in the entire lot.

In a functional, socialized, civilized community whose members shared a genuine commitment to living out the Christian worldview: this would NOT have happened. Any of it.

Michael Brown would have respectfully dialogued with a dedicated officer unhardened by six years of policing ferality whose feral denizens wouldn't have then taken to rioting and looting the very innocent store owners that pay for their welfare.

Everyone in this story's guilty David including you as a liberal voter that created the society it could occur in. So don't try to pass your two cents of the buck.

The Execution of an 18 year old kid by police is all over the news at the moment.

Have the resident right wingers on this forum come up with reasons why he deserved it, or why he was doing the wrong thing?

Or hasn't their been enough time to fabricate lies about it yet?

I'm just curious.

You are not the least bit curious about this tragic situation. You are shamelessly using it to forward a venomous political agenda. Have you no love for any of the souls involved in this incident?

Please whatever you choose to do I beg you do not tell anyone you claim to be a Christian. Tell them you are a Catholic or a Muslim or an agnostic or even an atheist. Spare Christ the shame of you using His name.

The officer received some medical attention due to his face being swollen. If his face is swollen due to him being punched, then there is a good chance that the witness testimony is a fabrication. And, considering this happened in the ghetto, I wouldn't be surprised.

This even just happened and it's still under investigation. Yet, many people are standing behind Michael as if he's completely innocent. It's ridiculous.

The reason police are suited in riot gear is because there have been riots over what happened. And where there are riots, you have people vandalizing and stealing from innocent people who aren't involved trying to take advantage of the situation. AgeOfKnowledge provided a wonderful video demonstrating this point.

That's a good start.

We should make a list of possible reasons why he needed to die.

1. I heard he was black
2. I heard he was a young male (obvious thug right?)

We won't know more until Fox News comes up with their decision. But I can't wait to hear why he was almost terrorist like!
You spent more time typing in your first two posts, about things conservatives hadn't even said at the time of your post, than you do in showing concern that a 18-year-old kid is dead.

Why do liberals rush to turn these tragedies into opportunities to score political points?

Thank you AgeofKnowledge. Finally!

My question is what took you so long?

Surely you guys could have a lot of this written up before the event occurs. That would be more efficient.

Good, good.

Yes, we are finally piecing together the Right Wing response.

I'd hate for you guys to come out on the side of the executed boy, before the talking points were decided.

Boy, would that be embarrassing!

Do I really need to slow down? Are your marching orders going to be any different than the stance you guys take on every single one of these events?

I do not want to fan the flames but you are making wild unfounded statements about a tragic situation that is 10,000 miles from where you are located. If you are going by the information you find on the internet in judging this matter you need to consult medical professionals because you've been out in the sun too long.

No reasonable person would leap to the conclusions you have made without first hand unimpeachable evidence. You are bordering on slander and wrongful accusations against the police officer. In the USA we have a legal system to examine and hold to account the parties directly involved in this matter.

I agree. Everyone in this story is guilty. I also believe that the loss of Christian homes is the cause. It is time to stop passing the buck.

I would honestly like to know how we as Christians turn this situation around before it is too late. One of the saddest in our local newspaper daily list is the Jail Docket. The average age is 25 years old, and more than 80% of those arrested are for drug related crimes. More young people were arrested this past weekend, than in all age groups in a month when I was that age. How can we change the environment to prevent this from happening? Are we willing to make the investment in time and resources to change it?

You can attend most of the many local churches in the community, and the pews are void of people under the age of 45 (and that's increasing). We began a children's out reach four years ago. The resistance to it cost us (in loss of tithing members) more than we ever expected, but it is beginning to yield returns in young family attendance and participation. The people who need the Gospel most are the lost. The best way to reach them with it, is to bring it to them before the world gets them. We are doing it through their children. This works, but it's not enough.

David, this problem occurred because, we, the Christian Community, have let God be taken out of the lives of the people. If you think things are bad now, just let the government continue to solve the social ills of the country. To quote my great-grandfather "It ain't gonna happen". I'm 72 years old, and I haven't seen a successful social government program yet.
